Today, 03-30-18, at approximately 11:00am, we went to Doc's for a lunch with family friends. In our group, we had a young teen who has Autism. Upon entering the restaurant, I asked the gentleman at the Host area, if he would be able to sit our little group in a quiet corner. This gentleman not only said he would do that, but would put our group in the patio area where there would be less noise. Then, not only did he arrange that, but he also turned the music off in the patio area, knowing sound affects those with Autism. What a wonderful, respectful gentleman to do all of that. So appreciated!! Then, our server, who was just as amazing (I don't recall her name, but she was top notch), put an order in early for our friend's son, while the rest of our group still looked over menus. This gesture allowed our friend's son to quietly eat his meal, and let the rest of our group visit. Oh, and everyone was delighted with their food choices!! My young sons had chicken tenders off the kids menu, definitely a winner!! Nothing at all like frozen chicken nuggets, they were delicious. The fish fry (baked) was also nicely seasoned. I truly thank these two representatives of Doc's on the Fox. It is these kind gestures that made our lunch with friends more enjoyable. Thank you from a customer that will definitely tell others to come to your establishment!!!
Fabulous first time experience. Quick service, and spacious environment to eat with my family. My only regret is I don't remember our waiter's name. Taller gentleman, with dark hair...by far the best waiter we have had in a long time. Hospitable and prompt with everything...we spoke to the manager/owner(?) about him. If all of their servers are as fabulous, we will definitely be back!!!
