Excellent food n excellent service ask for Sonny he is the man.. ask for the wings in the bone n for the deep dish pizza you won't be dissapointed.
Best pizza I've had in all my travels!! I had the meat lovers thin crust pizza which was awesome. I highly recommend it!! The service and atmosphere is excellent too. I will definitely eat here next time I'm in town!
Great lunches and nice selection of beers. I found Anastasia's while on travel. It was across the parking lot from the Marriott. Thier lunches are very good and they don't skimp on the portions. Great selection of local and micro brews. Staff is great and make sure you have what you need, but not overbearing.
We stopped here on whim after the first two restaurants we tried were closed unexpectedly. It was fate telling us something.
The food and service was phenomenal. The portions were extremely large. No one was leaving this meal hungry. The godfather sandwich was amazing and the fried ice cream hit the spot on a warm summer day.
We dined on the patio and there was no one else taking advantage of that so it was like we had our own private dining area. The staff was super attentive and very friendly. If we are ever back in the area we will be back.
We went to Anastasia’s for lunch after the navy graduation ceremony. It was quite busy but well worth the wait!
Once seated the manager Maggie took wonderful care of us. Not only was she very attentive during a big lunch rush she was also witty and didn’t miss a beat! After dinner she even went out of the way to take some really nice group pictures.
The food was delicious too! We got a cheese stuffed pizza and a hawaiian deep dish.
And to top off a memorable lunch, our bill was covered by a very generous gentleman that works locally in construction. Not only did he pay for our family of sevens meal he paid for EVERY sailor and their families meals in the entire restaurant! (Whoever you are, thank you so much! Your kindness was much appreciated and certainly made our sailor feel extra special on an already unforgettable day!)

The food was great. The 3 of us ordered different breakfast meals and were completely happy with them. I had corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and toast. Wife had Greek skillet, hash browns, and a pancake. Mom had an omelet and wheat toast. All were satisfied. Our waitress Chris was very kind, attentive, and accommodating (Mrs. tends to have several requests). Atmosphere pleasant and not noisy. We were there about 11:30am on a Saturday.
First time to visit and I loved their atmosphere and the variety of food they serve. Try meat liver! It's unique and tasty. Squeeze some lemon over it and enjoy. Very good service!
The service was great. Had a couple of mixed drinks and the Greek flaming cheese as a appetizer. I did not get a picture of it but it was really good. My daughter had the ahi tuna sandwich. It was awesome very well seasoned and the mango sauce I loved it. My wife had the half rack of ribs. They fall off the bone . Good as well. With mixed veggies. I had the sirloin tip sandwich I forgot the name. It was very good as well. Wish I would have tried the Italian beef instead. The French onion soup was excellent.
Wow, this place was Amazing. In from out of town for my son's graduation from Navy Boot Camp. He wanted breakfast and this place alhad good reviews and was right next to our hotel. Great service and great food. My Son had a burrito and we had chicken fried steak. The best breakfast I have had in several years! Just amazing! Thank you to the kitchen and the service staff. What a great job!
I know this restaurant isn't typically known for their deep dish pizza but there were a lot of great reviews and it was close to the hotel I was staying at. I really liked how you can select the style of pizza you want, pick from a selection of pre-set ingredients or build your own. My party and opted for a build your own deep dish Chicago style pizza, we ordered 2 mediums for 4 women and we had leftovers. We were stuffed. The pizza is delicious, hearty and satisfied our craving for deep dish pizza. The menu has many other selections and they offer a variety of daily specials.
Super service. We were there celebrating our grandson graduating from Navy bootcamp. Could not find a better place that appreciates the young sailors. A super nice young man picked up the ticket for our entire table. Thank you to whom ever done this. We appreciated it very much
I have been here three times for breakfast and dinner whenever I stay overnight in Waukegan. They are conveniently located near hotels. The food is really good. They have a variety of options. Last night we ordered chicken wings. They were so good and crispy without breading. We ordered half with the sweet chili sauce, which was really good and the other half with sweet and sour sauce, which was just Ok. I wouldn’t choose the sweet and sour sauce again but the wings were good. I love the presentation of the food. The restaurant is clean and the staff is attentive.
The restaurant could use an update, but when a place has been around as long as Anastasia's, you know they are doing something right. The food was excellent. Large portions (I took more home than I ate) and the service was great. Our food was up so fast it was shocking and the menu is pretty diverse. Our whole party was very pleased with our visit.
