5 out of 5 stars 🌟. Not your average restaurant expect to pay but you will get your money's worth. We had a very romantic special birthday dinner!! Service from entrance to exit was perfect!!
Had a fantastic meal at Jag’s steak and seafood. The service was fantastic and they even had live music to entertain me while I ate. The valet service was a nice touch after a long day of traveling and I appreciated them seating me right away with a reservation if you have good food, good service and a great atmosphere, you have got to try this place. My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience and our server was outstanding. The food was delicious and beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Great meal to celebrate our anniversary. For some reason we’ve put off Jag’s in favor of Jeff Ruby’s and other restaurants and frankly, my expectations were that this would be a lesser experience and I was gladly proved wrong. Food was delicious and borderline sinful, portions were much bigger than expected, service was top-notch, and the value was much better than other steakhouses. Ease of parking, quality of food, bang for the buck, and ambience will all keep Jag’s on top of our list.

This was mine and my husband’s second visit with Jags. We were celebrating our anniversary and desired a quiet, nice, mature ambience and they did not disappoint, in fact is more beautiful than expected. I’ve never seen a piano on a bar, before, but I bet the placement is what allowed everyone to hear and enjoy the music. They get a A+ for that. Our waiter ( I wish I had thought to write his name down) was absolutely wonderful. See, the thing is, I was not feeling well, at all. For some reason, maybe the prescription I’m on, I developed the worst case of acid reflux I’ve ever had, about 10 minutes before our reservation. I took something to help with it hoping it would improve, but it did not. Our waiter did his absolute best to make our stay enjoyable. I felt horrible b/c I couldn’t eat anything, and I could tell he was trying his best to fix whatever was wrong. The manager came over to check on us ( not just us, she was checking on all the guests) and I told her everything was delicious, I just wasn’t able to eat much. I highly recommend Jags. We will go back when I’m feeling better; I hope we see our waiter then, so I can tell him what a great job he did.
Thank you very much, Jags, for going out of your way to make our 35th wedding anniversary date as wonderful as it could be, under the circumstances.

My wife and I have eaten here many times but this time was easily the best. The food is always great but it just seemed a little better this time. We both got a small filet mignon and seafood and the portions just seemed bigger and the finish on the fish just seemed better. Our server, christine, was by far the reason that the experience was better than before though. She took wonderful care of us.
Stellar food. My team ate here for the holiday lunch. Food was perfect both in quality and presentation.
Service was good and friendly but not up to par with comparable restaurants at this price point. Attention to needs for little things like appetizer plates not being provided for sharing and drink refills needing to be asked for.
The atmosphere is good.
I went to celebrate my anniversary and the experience was fantastic! The atmosphere was very romantic and the service was excellent! by the way they make the best baked oysters!

Jag's is one of our favorite steak houses in the city! The quality of food for the price is top notch. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed live piano 🎹 music 🎶. We ordered:
1. Oysters - I don't care for raw oysters, so I didn't try.
2. Tiger shrimp 🍤 cocktail - the cocktail sauce with the shrimp and lemon was delicious. The shrimp was fresh and prepared well. (5/5 🌟)
3. 6 oz filet steak 🥩 with mashed potatoes🥔 and haricot vert - all items on the plate were perfectly seasoned and paired well. The steak was cooked to order and tasted great. Would recommend and order again and again. (5/5 🌟)
4. Porterhouse steak 🥩 with mashed potatoes 🥔 and broccoli 🥦- this was cooked to order and very tasty. While not the best porterhouse my SO has had, he would still rate the dish a (5/5 🌟)
5. Side Jaguar salad 🥗- fresh ingredients with a yummy house dressing. (4.5/5 🌟)
6. Side Caesar salad 🥗- freshly prepared with added anchovies. (5/5 🌟)
7. New York cheesecake with raspberry sauce - this was delicious.... the sauce combined with the cheesecake created a well-balanced taste. (5/5 🌟)
8. The old-fashioned cocktails we ordered were delicious. (5/5 🌟)
We will visit Jag's again as they offer a solid menu selection, intimate dining experience, and good customer service. They also have a rare bourbon selection for those avidly obsessed.
Fantastic experience for our anniversary! I'd rank this one higher than Fleming's or Jeff Ruby's and well worth the drive from Dayton!
