Excellent food, and great service. Chicken shawarma is my favorite, but also have a really good gyro. Chicken is flavorful and juicy. WAYYYY better than any fast food around. Prices are good too.
I was ordering a pizza from the place next door for my kids when I thought I'd give this place a try. I easily ordered online and put in the comments that I was waiting in the parking lot, just so he would know I was there. Now I was waiting on pizza and Tikka Grill. When my order was ready, a kind gentleman from the restaurant walked outside, right up to my car and handed my order to me. I couldn't believe how thoughtful he was to do that. Now, the food... Oh my gawd y'all, it was soooo good. I ordered both a chicken gyro and a beef kabob on rice. I immediately regretted not ordering the lamb gyro instead of the chicken because it seemed very thin and somewhat dry, but somehow they managed to fill it with flavor so it was tolerable. Just not my favorite. No, my favorite was the beef kabob on rice. It was so tender and juicy and the sauce they served it with was amazing. And the pita bread was soft and warm. I will certainly return for the kabobs and the service.
It was so delicious! I got the gyro, fries, and Greek salad. I haven't had Greek food in a long time, it was so good. Really hit the spot! The Gyro was overflowing, the salad was enormous and tasty, and the overly abundant serving of fries were so well and perfectly seasoned! Kind of a small place and a bit of a fast food vibe, decently priced. Not cheap, but not expensive either.
We ordered carryout through the online system, and it was quick, easy, and accurate. We ordered:
1. Chicken Shawarma Salad - the chicken was flavored well, and the lettuce was fresh. I didn't love the Greek dressing in combination with the Shawarma. I am also limiting dairy right now and missed out on the addition of the feta. (3.5/5 🌟)
2. Gyro with 🍟 - the SO said the gyro was pretty good. The fries didn't travel well. However, the hypothesis is that the 🍟 would be 5/5 🌟 if they were hot and fresh. Overall, this was a (3.5/5 🌟)
3. Hummus - great texture and flavors. (4/5 🌟)
We would return and eat at the restaurant vs. Carryout. I also forgot to take food 📸, so next time.
Cozy space, but really good food.
I had the Chicken Shawarma Fries, which were super delicious. My wife had the chicken gyro, which she liked, but we both liked the Shawarma better. She loved the salad.
Owner was very hospitable. We both had a gyro. Very generous meat quantity. Just the right ratio of sauce and veggies. Onion rings were very tasty and crunchy. Chicken shawarma fries were the right level of spicy. All food wqs nice and hot temperature wise. They have their own hot sauce which you can buy. Good value for amount of food. We’ve eaten here (Eastgate location) many times and will definitely come again and again
The best gyro in Cincinnati! Love this place. Make sure you get the lamb gyro, you’re lame if you get chicken. With a side of gyro fries and you’re set for a tasty meal. No joke about their meat. My mom even ordered it in bulk for a family meal she wanted to make with gyro meat. Now she sends alll her friends there, even making a 30 min drive cuz it’s garunteed the best in town
Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. I'd consider this a California Cheese Steak due to the mayo and lettuce. The service was fast and friendly and I had my sandwich in less than 8 minutes. Fully packed sandwich that tastes amazing. If you haven't been here you should give it a try. $8 for lunch is a great deal and I'll be back.
This place was amazing! The employees were friendly, the prices were super reasonable, and the food - soooo delicious!!! I wish I didn’t live out of state because this is somewhere I’d go all of the time if possible and try some of the other items.
Update! Went again first weekend October 2020 and tried the chicken teriyaki. It was everything I hoped it’d be! Service was super awesome again!
