I love this place! The ladies did a great job taking care of us. We always had the glasses with water full, we received the food fast, very nice service. The food was excellent, probably the best one. The tikka masala from another places is very sweet. This one is perfect, I could taste the tomatoes and all the spices. Just amazing. The location is beautiful, plenty of space, nice atmosphere. The building has some character. I definitely recommend you to try it. We will be back!
I’m not a spice person so I didn’t get much spice in mine but the hubby did 8 on his and loved it and it was spicy. I received the salmon Marsala and he got chili chicken both were delicious. The wine list is nice too.
We found this restaurant while shopping at Kroger. Friendly and quick service. We ordered:
1. Saag paneer - I suspect this rendition more closely resembles authentic Indian food. It didn't have as much cream as we are used to but still good flavors. (4/5 🌟)
2. Chicken paneer mater - good flavors same comments as above. (4/5 🌟)
3. Makhani - this was made with black lentils and overall very good. (4/5 🌟)
4. Garlic Naan - delicious (5/5 🌟)
5. Samosas - these were prepared well and tasty. (4/5 🌟)
The Chicken Makhani had a creamy somewhat sweet flavor, and was very delicious. Served over rice and with garlic naan bread the meal was fantastic. The train certainly made its delivery of spice with level 5, next time I will likely go spicier.
Went here for our 2 year anniversary. Very clean and decorated nicely. A great dinner date! I haven't had the greatest experience with indian food before. But my wife ADORES it. I decided to surprise her and I was blown away. Portions where very generous and we are most definitely going back!! Delightful experience and staff!
The Tandoori Chicken here is the best I’ve ever had. It’s a perfect blend of vegetables and spice with the most tender and flavorful pieces of chicken. It’s not dry like what I’ve had in other restaurants in this area. And I love the owners and staff. Mike and Rosie are the perfect hosts and bartenders and the servers Elizabeth and Uma are polite and always ready to help and answer questions.
Our first time trying the Indian Spice Train. The place was empty (Monday evening), we were seated immediately, and the food came relatively quickly after we ordered. They had a steady flow of takeout customers. I've eaten Indian food several times before in Singapore, Malaysia, Wales, and the US. This was great for the Liberty Township and surrounding area. It was my daughter's first time trying Indian cuisine so we ordered both dishes at a medium spiciness level. I prefer it a little spicier. The flavor combinations were still very good. I wasn't a fan of the bread stuffed with onions but I believe it's more of a personal preference. Friendly service from Rosie.
I moved away from the area in 2019 and was recently back for a friend’s wedding and this was my first stop because I missed it so much. It truly felt like visiting an old friend. I’ve always had great service. It’s very warm and personable. The food is excellent. I truly can’t say enough good things about Indian Spice Train, the staff and owners.
This is, hands down, the BEST Indian food we've found east of the Mississippi. And the owners are so welcoming and friendly! This is one of our favourite restaurants. It's a bit of a drive for us to get there -- but sooo worth it!
Update:
The second time I visited there with mu friends on 14th of August 2021. Altogether we had 14 people and we received our order with in 20 minutes.Food was superb and everybody’s enjoyed it. Our server name is Emrith and he’s really nice and very friendly.
