The original pancake house is one of the best place to have pancakes in Cincinnati...ok service, good ambience, value for money...
Fell in love with their Chocolate Chip Pancake.
Just as good as the location in Montgomery with a fraction of the wait time. Seated and with food in 12 minutes. Waitstaff was friendly and superbly helpful. Couldn't be happier!
The Strawberry Belgian Waffle is incredible~
Great pancakes and omletes.
Cherry Kijafa Crepes. I always order the same meal, the cherry kijafa crepes. It is delicious and addictive. This restaurant also has very tasty coffee (kona blend). We visit the West Chester location which is less wait time, you always have to wait for awhile at the Montgomery location.
Best Breakfast. I have been to both locations and they are equal in service and quality. My favorite place for breakfast hands down. Everything is top quality from the coffee to the thick bacon and tasty sausage they serve. All fresh and served and prepared perfectly in a clean and attractive restaurant. The Cherry Kieffa crapes are to die for and my guilty pleasure...if you like crapes and cherries they are to die for folks!
The Seafood Crepe Won Me Back!. Since moving to Texas, we've stopped going to the OPH because the Seafood Crepe isn't on the menu. I was so happy to find that it's still on the menu at this location. It is, easily, one of my 10 all-time favorite dishes. Tender scallops and shrimp in a light sauce, wrapped in a crepe, with a side of potato pancakes - best breakfast I've ever had! The rest of the family loves the food as well, but it's just breakfast to me without the seafood crepe! It can't be easier to get seafood in Ohio than Texas - they've got to bring this to the Grapevine menu!
Food from Heaven. Totally worth the wait for the weekend and long lines
We stop at pancakes house. Although this is a chain, the quality and variety is such that it can be considered Original. They are obviously not trying to compete with IHOP or Denny's in price points and the margin is pretty clear to see in quality and ingredients.
This is a really good place if you want to spoil yourself for breakfast one in a while, and their unique maple syrup is memorable and distinctive.
The pancakes are about as good as they get and the Dutch baby, omelets, and other breakfast fare are generous and well prepared. Their coffee is good too.
Great OPH. This is one of the best OPH locations I've been to. Great staff, great food. Busy on the weekend, but that's to be expected.
Yummy. Always good food , great service, and good coffee. Clean and the atmosphere is good.
It was good food. Good expensive food. Got there before the big rush apparently. Because when we got there there was nobody in the line to be seated, leaving: people to the door and wrapped around.
Anyways, delicious french toast. Kids liked their food also. Orange juice has a lot of pulp (we were told beforehand). Nobody liked them though. But good thing we ordered small ones because they were 4 dollars and some change. Also didn't know that for almost $5 we would all get toddler size drinks. Food is kinda high but it was good. Daughter was disappointed with no hash browns on the menu.
Waitress was kind and very attentive.
Very delicious food. Loved the fluffy ham and cheese omelette
Food was good but not great. Service was good, but obviously they need help in the back of the house because it took a while to get the food but it was hot and fresh. The food was just not good enough to make me want to come back. Save your pennies and go to the “Awful Waffle” (I think you know the restaurant I’m referring to) on Tylersville road in West Chester on a weekend night. If you don’t judge a book by its cover, you’ll get MUCH BETTER service AND food. Except the bacon. Don’t get bacon.
Dry long wait, waited 45 mins to be seated. After we were seated we waited a while to order, and waited another 35 min to get the food. We spent 2 and half hours there, and 20 minutes actually eating. The food was good though just hated the fact we had to wait so long.
This place is expensive for breakfast, but the portions are big and it is really good. The service was friendly and fast. The coffee was mediocre, especially for $4.
i got what wasn’t on the menu… A good friend told me about the special item. it didn’t disappoint!!!
I was disappointed that this location doesn't offer gluten-free pancakes. However, the waitress Sherry is the sweetest ❤️. The food she suggested was so good.
If for nothing else.... come see Sherry.... she made my day brighter!
Been to several OPH locations over the years including the original in Portland and one in Anaheim, CA that's been there at least since the late 70s. This one has the same great breakfasts. Huge portion sizes. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get. Service from our server was really good and we had others coming around offering us refills and taking plates. I'd say the only knock was the hostess was on her cell phone quite a bit and the mens restroom, although clean, had a sewer-like smell. Will be back again !
Awesome, it’s such a breath of fresh air to visit an establishment and be greeted with a smile, and really feel welcomed. I am a little extra usually when it comes to tweaking menu options, but my waitress Cheri explained and hooked it up for me! Awesome food and the best part, all their syrups are freshly made on location, Cheri chose this tropical citrus syrup for me and hmmmm!! Like the hot sauce slogan “ I put that sh*t on everything! “
Had a very nice experience here on our way up north. Food was good and we had a lovely waitress that made us feel very welcomed.
