I ate here the other day for my birthday, I had kids of fire, land and sea, and veggie roll. It was so delicious! Some of the best sushi I have ever had!
Great service. Our chef was entertaining and funny. He cooked our dinners to perfection and very generous. My daughter wanted tofu with her hibachi vegetables, but that wasn't an option on the menu. That was the only drawback to a great meal.
We had a fantastic visit here last night for my 23rd birthday. It was really busy so we didn’t seat until 35 minutes after our reservation time, BUT it was a Saturday night so it’s not really that crazy and we weren’t upset. We did hibachi and the food was incredible. Jerry was our hibachi cook & he was so friendly and made us laugh a lot. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks for a great meal!
Went here for lunch on a whim. Great experience! The staff were extremely attentive courteous. No glass ever went empty and the timing of the food between courses was perfect!
We did a sushi appetizer and some hibachi at our booth (not the hibachi table). All was delicious. Highly recommend!
The atmosphere is definitely Fun. Servers are top notch. My Avocado Tower and Tuna sushi salad was so fresh with delicious dressing. I did not get a Hibachi dish. From what I sampled I think the shrimp, salmon was way overcooked. But it could have been what others prefer, well done.
They impress me every time I go in there. They have welcoming smiles and great food. Would recommend this sushi restaurant to anybody who loves sushi. They even do special orders if you like your sushi a certain way :)
Just got out there, were celebrating my son’s 7th birthday and it was a blast! Definitely a place for entertaining dinner, always for hibachi grill! Plus serving girls are very nice! Thank you for making our celebration special ☺️
Sushi bar is the place to be inside the restaurant! Fish was fresh and well presented, and the rolls were put together perfectly. Sushi chef was friendly and super attentive. Made a Jalapeño cream cheese filled tempura battered appetizer that was amazing. Hope to visit again when I return to the Midwest!
Everything was delicious and the chef was spraying sake in everybody's mouth while singing a sake song. I'm going to have that song in my head for the rest of my life. The salad dressing was watery but I'm sure that doesn't happen frequently. I would eat here again. Such a fun dinner.

We went to Miyako for the first time as part of a birthday party. Expensive meal. Everything is expensive, no matter where you go nowadays, so saying that is probably no surprise. I ordered the salmon and steak combo. The steak was nothing exciting. Overcooked and extremely small quantity. Probably all of 2, maybe 3 ounces. The salmon was also overcooked, but it was a slightly larger amount. Maybe 4 ounces.
Certainly, the experience of watching the chef cook was fun, but also very loud. Anyone wearing hearing aids or suffering from sensitive hearing will dislike all the banging and clanking of spatulas during the "show." VERY noisy!
I will go back again, but I'll order the vegetarian dish. Altho I paid as much as I did, my vegetables were sparse, and they were the best part of the meal. Another in our party got the vegetarian, and they had oodles of food.
After our bill came, I believe we would have done better to order the dinner for 2 at 62 dollars. We would have gotten more food.
I don't eat much, so I took a good deal of my dinner home with me and made a wonderful fried rice the next day.
The employees were all very nice. The waitress brought plates and forks for the birthday cake.
We go here expecting a very positive experience and we are never disappointed. We love the food, especially the Hibachi and the sushi. The staff are always friendly upbeat and willing to help. This is always a great experience!
The food was excellent and the staff is very friendly. The highlight of our meal was a whole grilled squid, and some of the best sushi we've had. Been meaning to try it for years and finally did, and it did not disappoint.
