West Chester's legendary Market Street Grill has cooked up some of the most unusual, generously filling, and overall best breakfasts I've ever been served. The menu features a variety of omelettes, stuffed french toast, breakfast burritos. Service is always cheerful and timely, even on busy days. Where Market Street truly excels, though, is with its always changing and endlessly creative list of specials. From the tried and true Monte Cristo to the inspired apple dumpling omelette, to the incredible pulled pork, egg, and chorizo salami sliders, the folks here always leave me abundantly satisfied and hungry for more.
Hands down THE BEST breakfast & lunch option in WC. Darla is a culinary Goddess, & the wait staff is simply tremendous!
Excellent diner style restaurant with high quality food and a busy atmosphere. Meet her during the week for less customers. Gets packed on the weekends.

Very busy and very good. We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the small entrance area was crowded. Luckily we were only two and were seated after just a couple of minutes. They also have a nice long traditional lunch counter that may have had available stools when we first arrived. Our server was at our table as fast as we were and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. My wife often has off-menu requests and did this time, and our server handled everything wonderfully. There were several interesting menu and special options for breakfast.
I ordered the Pop Grecos Cream Chipped Beef and Eggs, remembering how I loved the dish my Mom used to make. It wasn’t the same. Market Street Grill uses a secret recipe. The dish was brown gravy and not overly salty. My Mom’s was white, maybe in part because of all the salt used. I think the Market Street version is better. The dish comes with hash brown (shredded) potatoes that were nicely browned. There was plenty of food. My wife got one of the stuffed French Toast specials and really enjoyed it, complaining between bites about all the calories she was consuming.
Love it. Best breakfast around. Very generous portions, consistent flavor, good value. Andouille sausage gravy is amazing. Don't miss it

My Saturday is not complete without a stop here. The best breakfast in Chester County if you are ordering traditional breakfast fare or if you are in the mood for something different. Nice big cups of coffee. Cozy booths. Awesome artwork.
The best place for breakfast in the West Chester area.. The cooking and quality at Market Street Grill is consistently at a high level. The breakfast menu is interesting and the specials are innovative. The short-rib eggs benedict is off the charts, and the pancakes are huge and tender. Lunch is equally good.
Came for breakfast and then got lunch instead!
Was so so so good! Perfect coffee, quick service, wide selection.

-chicken salad sandwich with fried green tomatoes and chipotle Mayo
-quesadilla w/ peppers and onions

Delicious! The wait was out the door (to be expected for Sunday brunch) but we were able to get seated right away for a table of two. I had the breakfast quesadilla which was amazing, and everything came out quickly. Also, 5 stars for having large coffee mugs!
Somewhat of a cozy place for breakfast. I had lox and bagels with cream cheese. My wife ordered the Christian and one pancake. The pancake is huge. We enjoyed the food and the service was great! The waitresses were more than happy to give you free coffee refills. Still a great place in the heart of West Chester.
I work in West Chester, and try to stop by here at least once a week. The staff is warm and welcoming. Always smiling, goofy, joking with each other. The decor isn’t high dining, but it’s cute as a button. They regularly feed the homeless community, as it’s the only cheap place in the borough to get breakfast. I just watched a homeless woman tear up over some extra butter and jam the staff handed to her when she ordered like 1 bagel. There’s such heart and love in this restaurant. Thanks especially to Liz, who’s served me quite a few times. She has excellent customer service skills, and an even kinder smile. Just an overall A+!

Listen! I tried this place for the first time this past Saturday. Holy S$*t!!!! I had the Chicken and Waffles with scrambled egg and the cherry on top was the Andouille Sausage gravy…when I tell you EVERYTHING was Amazing!!!! Man I regret not trying this place out sooner but it will be my go-to breakfast spot going forward. In fact I’m looking forward to next weekends takeout. If this was takeout I can only imagine how much better it is in-store. Will absolutely be back!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This is legit some of the best food I have ever had! The bruno and the donny are the way to go.
Been here a few times and every time has been great! Delicious food, fast and friendly service. My favorite dishes so far include the Andouille sausage gravy. Make sure to give yourself time to wait, they're often very busy.
