Love the food (especially the nachos), the service, and the atmosphere! I'm not a beer drinker, but I also like the seasonal cocktail options. Great place to go to hang out with friends, grab some good food, and watch the games.
We go to PJ'S fairly often - the food is always good, whether we go for our favorites (Wicked Chicken Wrap anyone?), or the monthly specials (please keep the Buffalo Chicken Taco salad on the menu!). We feel the service is friendly and efficient. I'm writing today to thank our server Ellie for taking care of a change of my lunch order due to a food allergy issue, which I should have mentioned when I ordered, not after the meal was delivered. I felt bad for forgetting, but she told me not to apologize, and quickly got a new meal to me so I could still eat with the rest of our group. Another nice outside dining experience at PJ's!
PJs wings are hands down the best in the area. Their breaded wings are always crunch and the sauces are phenomenal. The classic Hot ‘N Honey is a go-to, but Old Bay and Nashville Hot are right behind it.
Before COVID, half price Wing nights On Tuesday were a Hot spot. After COVID, offering them for takeout was a sure way to support local business. We got them 9 weeks in a row! At $13 for a standard 10 wings it’s a little steep, but on half price nights that’s the sweet spot.

This PJs actually has good food! The cheese on the nachos is actually melted. The food comes out quickly and tastes fresh. The servers seem happy, and the new manager was lovely.
The Downingtown location needs to take notes. This PJs is infinitely better.
Went here the day before the shutdown in PA for a spur of the moment mini Christmas get together. We had the BEST waitress Nadia! Food was great, hot and served correctly! Would highly recommend it. I know its now our go-to place!
Outside seating was great. Lots of space, heating, and natural light. The food was fantastic. I had a normal cheese burger with lettuce and bacon. It was a little on the bland side but the bacon helped. We also ordered the onion rings. They were hot and crispy with a lovely mayo dipping sauce. The Sweet and chili wings were amazing. They were by favorite between them and the hot and honey wings. They were slightly crispy with just the right amount of sauce. All in all, a lovely experience and a great meal.
I summoned my inner J Cohl and got a grilled cheese sandwich with cheesesteak meat. I was very happy they made it for me but a little disappointed in the sandwich. I DID like that it came with french fries. When I think of a grilled cheese sandwich I envision a lot of cheese. This did not have a lot of cheese. The Cheesesteak meat was okay but it was a little dry. We were enjoying the effects of the alcohol. Daniella was a pleasure. So I asked her if this time they would make us a grilled cheese sandwich with American cheese on one side, cheddar jack cheese on the other side and mix the meat with their signature garlic parm sauce. Son of a gun if she didn't get it done. This sandwich was definitely better. It had more cheese and the meat was nice and moist. The bread became the weak link in the second grilled cheese sandwich.
Ordered food for the super bowl! Ordering and pick up was smooth and flawless! Food was still hot when I got home!
Had the wings and they were juicy with good flavor. I tried the Nashville and Inferno and have no idea which was which but 1 had a decent bit of spice although I wish it was spicier. I did think they were going to be crispy though which they weren't but maybe they just got a bit soft in the container. We had leftovers and I will say they didnt smell great when I took them out the fridge. They weren't spoiled so we ate them and they were just as good as the night before but the smell was a bit offputting.
Great spot to meet with friends or family for a casual meal or to catch a game. Large outside seating area with cover makes PJ Whelihans your choice of place during the pandemic. Staff was doing a great job cleaning and sanitizing tables.
Wings are of course a specialty along with a casual dining menu . Decent choice of beers available on tap. Prices are reasonable.
