I was referred to this place by a friend of a friend. The filet mignon is delicious! Prices very reasonable and they have great service. The owner is very kind and friendly! Don’t forget to get almond cookies to go. They’re delicious! We go from South Gate all the way to Westminster just because we love their food so much. My friend said the clam chowder is really good and they also love the egg rolls.
Most delicious cha ca thang long and dipping sauce in town. I always enjoy their toasty French bread. Best service in the Vietnamese community.
Very good food with friendly service. The sushi rolls were really tasty, steamed shrimp dumplings and potstickers were some of the best I've ever had and seasoned perfectly. Saki was hot and delicious! Overall great experience.
Family owned spot serving up authentic eats. We dined in and enjoyed it. Their pho bowl was great, and the vermicelli bowls were very tasty. Their grilled pork and their lemon grass beef were tasty, but two of the best things we had were the spring rolls, super thin wrappers for great crunch, and their thai tea, just very refreshing and didn't taste like the packet mixes. Overall, great food, inexpensive, good service.
This place has great fish sizzling platter with vermicelli. The purple sauce you will need an acquired taste. You can always opt for light fish sauce. The fresh orange juice is delicious and refreshing. They give you warm baguette and butter before the main dish arrives. Great fast service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Always delicious and excellent services. We ordered breakfast and " bún suông" and egg rolls. The price is affordable. Forget to mention, fresh bread baked and butter, cafe phin, and classic French music. Please keep it up that way, Song Long.
Great Vietnamese foods here. Their Cha ca thang long is the house dish here. The portion is enough for 2 people.
My family and I, we have been fan of this restaurant for over 20 years and it's one of my favorite in Little Saigon. Tucked away in a small plaza, but, this restaurant is quite crowded during lunch or dinner time. It's famous for Sizzling catfish with dills (ch cá Thăng Long), Grilled pork with vermicelli (Bún ch Hà Ni), Combo rice noodle with chicken, shrimp, imitation crab, fish nuggets... Its steak, beef stew... is also delicious. Overall, I had tried a variety of dishes from its menu ranging from Vietnamese to French, American... They are good.

One of the few French Vietnamese restaurants in the heart of Little Saigon. It has been here since I was a kid which has been over 25 years. The food here is delicious and won't disappoint you. They know how to cook a mean medium rare steak.
5-stars or more is well warranted. This restaurant has been around for several decades. Food preparation, taste, and service are the same or even better. Why change the recipes when it tastes so GOOD. I've to go now, but do go to this restaurant because the food is great and their prices are even better. 👌 promised

Song Long Restaurant is on Eater LA's best Vietnamese restaurants list and Cha Ca Thanh Long is mentioned as the star here. No disappointment in any way, it is so well prepared and presented and tastes great. Also, for Francophiles, they fly in the country paté from France! Can't wait to go back!
