I got their banh mi dac biet for $5.00 today. Pretty good sandwich. If only the bread was more fresh or at least toasted to make it seem fresh, that would've made it a 5 star. The small sandwich shop is not clean as it should be which would make customers feel like the food might not be served in a clean manner.
The banh mi meat was pretty good and a decent amount of meat was in it. They used a good amount of pate and some Vietnamese mayo which gave it a good solid authentic Vietnamese banh mi flavor. Good job on that. Veggies were fresh. I told the sandwich maker to cut it in half for me and this was my favorite part of it. She individually wrapped the two halves. So awesome. I hate when you tell places to cut the sandwich in half and they don't cut it all the way through, drives me nuts because when you make the last effort to break it in half, some of the meat and veggies get pulled out and it gets messy. Also bugs me when they wrap the banh mi and then cut it and don't add a other paper wrapper. Would I go back again? Maybe only because of the cleanliness factor.
Great place hidden gem ,must go!!
