I was extremely impressed by the perfectly smoked brisket, crispy coleslaw, fries, fountain drink options (extremely kid and adult friendly) and that amazing Mississippi mud pie . My picky child ate his entire plate and his portion for a kids meal was over the top which allowed me to try the delicious fries and let’s be honest good fries are hard to find. I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs! Last but not least, the staff was friendly and sincerely happy. Thank you for a wonderful experience, great food, in a family set atmosphere .
Well we just went to the soft opening of Sugarfire Smoke House Restaurant in Westminster. It was packed out. We tried all their meat choices except the brisket (I got to share one bite before they ran out).
Everything was great especially the turkey and the ribs. The beans were spectacular. Even the macaroni and cheese was very good, so was the coleslaw.
I would rate the pecan pie as outstanding. The key lime pie was the star dessert for me.
I was expecting a few problems since it was their first day being open. Their only problem was they ran out of food before closing time. Of course you can’t just go throw some beef brisket on the grill. It takes hours of s-l-o-w cooking to create such a SPECTACULAR meat. Oh yeah, I loved their sauces although the various meats were amazing even before the sauce was added. The sauce just added another layer of flavor.
I am looking forward to my next visit at my new favorite BBQ restaurant!
Very good BBQ and the burger that my wife had was so good that she talked to the cook about how well it was cooked to her exact specifications...and she has never done that. Having locally made soda's were a welcome treat as well, instead of the mainstream Pepsi/Coke products. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. We will go back for more.
In from Cali for work
Stopped in great food, hot BBQ sauce... Right on.. Brisket was perfect, just add Hot BBQ to the baked beans and oh yeah..
Decent price
Drinks shots and beer
Love Sugarfire. We first went learned about it in St. Louis, and looked to see if we there were any in Colorado. We had to come and it didn't disappoint. We love the environment. It feels like going to a brewery with the outside and games, but a BBQ spot. The food was delicious and we'd go back.
The ribs and brisket Was done Right. Beans we're Great. The Cole slaw didn't Care for kinda plain. The bbq sauce choices we're All good. Place Was clean and staff Was friendly 😉
The food was great, but the staff clearly weren't enthusiastic about being there. Had to repeat parts of our order multiple times, and after they brought us our food, the employee realized part of my combo was missing and said he would grab the item but never did. Reminded him after about 20 minutes and had to take it to go. All in all still worth a visit!
Great spot especially for a quick meal. Would be easy to get in and out on a short lunch break. Got the half rack and a couple sides - cucumber salad and caramel applesauce. I like how the menu of sides rotates. They seem to have a decent selection of options from healthy to naughty, depending on how you feel. The selection of BBQ sauces was also very welcomed. I will definitely be back.
Sugarfire is always amazing. They have such tender meat, delicious sides, and boozy shakes! I was sad to leave St. Louis but so happy to find out they have a location in Colorado! I hope they open more locations, so I don't have to drive an hour roundtrip but for now it's absolutely worth it. I always get that St. Louie Sweet BBQ sauce to put on everything! Pictured we got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw topped on it, a brisket cheesesteak, two sides of mac n cheese, and an orange soda! Can't wait to come back and get some ribs!!
It’s hard to find good BBQ out here, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and tenderness of the meat. In addition I really loved the baked beans. I for sure give this place a recommend . It was great.
