I love this place! The meatball calzone is amazing! I can't wait to go in again. I definitely recommend this place. The food is so fresh and delicious. Can I give it 10 stars? Friendly staff.
Came home to Denver for a funeral, from Kansas. We stopped in the evening of jan. 5th. It was snowing so hard. I haven't been back since 08, the remodel of the restaurant is marvelous. And it was great to have those wonderful meatballs. My waitress messed up my lasagna order, but got it to me quickly and a bonus of chocolate cake that she really didn't have to do. The lasagna was a huge portion as normal. And everyone at our large table of 6 enjoyed their meal. Loved the homemade noodles, and raviolis. I only wish they delivered to kansas. Thanks for a wonderful taste of home. Love you guys.
Huge portions, great authentic Italian. Nothing special from the outside but very nice and clean inside. A giant calzone is like meal prepping for a week of leftovers for lunch.

While some of their dished can be hit or miss, their signature foods - sumptuous sauce and noodles passed down from generation to generation- forgive everything else. Yes there is pizzas and calzones, but what a waste of taste buds compared to their stuffed wheel and out of this world raviolis!
House dressing was incredible. I could have had their salad as a full meal. Ended up buying some to go. Their giant calzone is giant. Good for 2 hungry people.
5 star Calzone! Since I've become a Calzone Lover I'd never had one From Bova's until today! I'm so sad to see this place going out of Business! Again 5 star Calzone!
Great food! Used to be a frequent customer but I moved away. After 7 years or so I returned. Newly renovated place was inviting. The prices are still average. $50 for 3 people - no alcohol. I must say still well worth it. I suggest the giant calzone. Great tasting ingredients. Awesome staff, I hope they're still around years from now. 1 of my favorite places in northern Denver.
This place is wonderful. I've been coming here with my family for 20 years, and it is consistently great. It's a family run, totally local business. It's not fancy Italian, but everything is made from scratch, and the pasta and the red sauce in particular is perfect. Their sausage and meatballs are also wonderful. They serve a huge amount of food. The giant calzones are three meals in one. If you want authentic, simple, delicious Italian food, there's no place better.
The restaurant itself was mediocre but the good and staff made up for it in spades! The pasta was perfect. The Italian sausage was super good. The staff was great. If I'm ever in Westminster Colorado again I'll stop in for sure.
