Came for the first time on a recommendation based on the LA location. NOTE: they don't do substitutions and only cook the burgers medium. It's a place that does food their way. Which is fine by me... that's why I came to try their food. I got the brie burger. A burger on brioche, with truffle oil, roasted garlic aioli, arugala and of course brie. The burger was super juicy! Great flavor... a bit on the oily side due to the truffle oil and melted brie. But very good. Also got the bread pudding $7. A very nice portion with candied almonds on top. The was also a sweet type of caramel sauce which I though was over reduced... making the sauce too sweet. But the bread itself was very good and very delicate flavor. The staff was great. The only draw back was it seems the AC was out so it was just a circulation of warm air. But I know that will be resolved. Also they will be opening a new location in Irvine.... not sure if the date but they did mention it. Overall great burgers! Will definitely be coming back.

Comfy spot, unique hamburger choices, specialty fries, one of a kind soda drinks and offers a kids menu. Was pleased to find a family friendly atmosphere with a high chair for my toddler and a kids menu. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions.

When you walk through the door you feel an instant good vibes atmosphere going on here! We originally came here to have a slice of the amazing coffee cake from back in the day at LAUSD...BUT, then we were told they no longer will be serving it. My husband and I were watching KTLA morning news on May 31st and heard the owner bragging about how he obtained the original recipe and makes it on site every morning. LIES, LIES, LIES!!! Our waiter tonight informed us that it will not be on the menu ever. Needless to say, we left very sad. Overall our dining experience was great, but if your the owner and going to be bragging about your restaurant on live television. Please have some integrity and tell the truth. Their are alot of us wanting to have a piece of that famous LAUSD coffee cake. So that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Food is fresh and the help is kind, the establishment is clean but we were very disappointed that it hasn't even been 30 days since the airing of the news episode and already the menu doesn't mention the famous coffee cake.

I have never had a burger like this. The menu is chef inspired, while each and every item on the menu is made with the taste buds in mind. The tone of the place is very upbeat and loose. The quality of meat is outstanding and juicy. This place has something for everyone.

The food here was AMAZING. My husband and I literally made a almost two hour drive to come here and it was so worth it. Delicious fries, delicious burgers, what more do you want. Definitely making the trip again in the future.
