Can't Be Beat for Breakfast or Brunch. I can't overstate my pleasure with Rise & Dine. Typically only open breakfast and lunch hours (and Wednesday evenings last time I was there), but it's more than worth it to get up early.
I've never had the slightest dissatisfaction with anything I've ever ordered here: it has all been, to put it simply, delicious. The coconut-encrusted french toast, above all else. I could elaborate on other items, but it's safe to say, whatever you order, it's probably gonna be great.
Furthermore, I've never seen a more friendly or cheerful staff in my life. The service is so consistently wonderful and welcoming, the more pessimistic might wonder if it's a put-upon, but it all seems so genuine that even that is hard to believe. And even more importantly, it's all done fast and accurately, remarkable given how busy it always seems to be here (understandably.)
Rise & Dine has much more in common with Grandma's Iowa farm cooking than it does with any IHOP or similar pancake house. I couldn't recommend it more.
