Overall: Everything is homemade! The staff is wonderfully kind and service is quick. The prices are extremely reasonable. Don't be deceived by the somewhat plain outside appearance! Food: I had the Jerk Chicken, off the newly added Caribbean menu items. It was tender and just spicy enough to where it had a nice kick, but wasn't overwhelming. It came with rice and beans, and I chose mac and cheese and corn pudding as my sides. All delicious. The two friends I was with had the oxtail dish and the veggie platter, respectively. Both were received well!

My family and friends went the other night but our parents have been twice already!! I can’t rave enough about them. I’m willing to drive from Richmond to eat! I got the fried pork chop with fried okra and Mac & Cheese. Everything was homemade. Great service!! We even took pictures with staff working that night. I love when staff interacted and joked with us!! Oh, tried my mom’s corn pudding. So good!! Corn bread is exactly what I like. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Someone mentioned their food was cold. All of ours was piping hot. Took leftovers home and pork chop was still warm 30 minutes later. Thank you all for great food and family oriented staff!!!

I've been here before and it was delicious so I brought my friends to experience some good ol home cooking, and they were definitely pleased. We had the buffet which was amazing and our server LaKita was amazing as well. LaKita was nice, knowledgeable about the food items and on point with her service. The lady who seated us was very sweet as well, and her story touched all four us so prayers are going up for her.
