We stopped in 30 minutes before closing time and we were still allowed to sit, order off the menu, and take our time to enjoy the meal. Everyone is friendly and very accommodating! And the food was delicious - who doesn't like homemade french fries or homemade tortilla chips?
The atmosphere is relaxing. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The prices are very reasonable and the food was the best! I suggest the French onion soup as it was the best we have ever had. The French fries are real but, fresh. The food came out in record time. I can't say enough good things about this place. It was our first time eating there and we will be going back often!!
We come here for the informal diner experience, the nice view of the river, and the pretty good food. If this place added a deck out front so people could eat outside along the river it would be a huge improvement and boost to business. They need to take advantage of what they have...a beautiful location!
The views are so nice overlooking the water. Our last visit we watched 6 deer on the ice while we ate. In the months the water isn't froze you can watch geese,ducks and their families. Their food is good and they make great soups. Their prime rib soup is out of this world good. Man and tomato beef soup is the best around. They have daily specials and soup menu changes from day to day.
This location is excellent, a perfect example of local business. The menu is varied and well priced, the staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is very homey. Couldn't ask for a better place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Great place. clean. great staff. Prices are good. Cook may tend to hurry the food a bit for fast service but hasn't stopped me from coming
I had the southwest burger which was excellent. My husband has the double cheeseburger...he will only order a single, next time because of the size of the hand formed burgers😋😋
Normally stop everytime we are in the area for a meal. As usual our server, Jessica, was both polite and attentive. Our breakfast was very good. Look forward to the next visit.
We have only been here for breakfast. The food is always served hot and a very tasty. Portion sizes are huge and prices are good.
