Hands down best mexican food I have ever had!!!!! Atmosphere is great,food is DELICIOUS, margaritas are DELICIOUS, the staff is friendly, fast and came back many times to make sure we liked the food. We never waited on drink refills or chips and salsa refills the server and owners were on it! You will absolutely not be disappointed if you go here!
Authentic Mexican food! Great atmosphere and prices are affordable . We had a party of 11 and it took about 15-20 min to get all our food. Staff had great customer service . Would definitely recommend! It’s our first time here and we are definitely coming back. La salsa verde is on point �
My husband and i had a great experience here for his birthday. We were welcomed and seated as soon as we came in the restaurant. The staff was amazing and treated us like family. And made sure that my husband celebrated his birthday with all the trimmings. The food was amazing. Portions was huge and very flavorful. Even the owner came over to have a birthday shot and took pictures with my husband. This will be a must stop everytime we are in the dells. Thanks so much for everything to the staff at El Asador.
Despite Google saying they open at 11am they actually open at noon. Being Mexican myself I can say that the food and atmosphere was really great! Our server was more on the reserved side but she was very nice, polite, and efficient. We communicated in English but she tried out Spanish when checking up on us so I appreciated that.
We came upon this while walking and decided to give it a shot. I was shocked to read the reviews on here! We thought it was delicious. We love hispanic food and this was phenomenal! We will absolutely be back! Service was fantastic. Cheapest dinner we had all week! No leftovers, perfect entree size!...
UPDATE: 1 year later and my review stands! This place was AMAZING . It was very busy. We were told we could sit but would need to wait about 10 minutes for a server. Fine by me. We could look at the menu and decide what we wanted and sit in a comfy booth. Service was fantastic, food was phenomenal. Prices were great, selection was huge. No complaints whatsoever from us! We will be back again, no doubt about it!!
If you want good Mexican food this is the place to go! The service was great, especially when the owner came out to our table to greet us and hand out the menus. I have to brag about the food! It was on point, the temperature of the food was a thumbs up and the appearance made out mouth water. If you ask for hot sauce they bring out two different kinds and they are hot! We will definitely be back!!
El Asador was a great experience for me and my wife. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was near closing so not too busy, we were seated immediately. The food was served soon after ordering. The complimentary chips and salsa were great while we waited.
The food was very well prepared, looked appetizing, and was quite delicious. A very good balance of fresh ingredients and wonderful spice. The flavor was right on for my tastes. Having never eaten in Mexico, I can't say if it was truly authentic though I will say it was among the best Mexican food I've had in Wisconsin. We will definitely be back next time we're in Wisconsin Dells.
I'm glad we didn't read the reviews on here before stopping in. We were there around 7 on Friday evening. We were looking for a new place to try and we saw this place as we drove down the street. We were very happy with it. Warm, friendly and attentive service, food took a reasonable time to come out and we spent $40 for the two of us, which I feel is reasonable. The chips and salsa they first brought out were good (not the "water with a little spice" someone else stated). The two home-made salsas they brought out with our food were really good, too. We were very happy with our visit.
