Really yummy food and good portion sizes for good prices! We ordered a lot of food (wanted to try different things and love leftovers!) and it was very reasonable. The chicken was super crispy (even after the 15 minute drive home) and flavorful, japchae had lots of veggies, the octopus balls were tasty. The only thing I didn't love was the salmon avocado ball. It was good, just not what I was looking for. We can't wait to eat here again!!!
Went to Bonchon with my family while we were in vacation and had the best time. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively and the waitress was very kind and did a great job. The highlights for me were the garlic chicken wings and the radishes. Everything was top notch.
Bon Chon is a little bit pricey, but they do have lunch specials/deals for combos. Yet, my mom and I had not seen those deals on the menu, so she paid full price. The food itself is really tasty. I love the daikon/radish that they give on the side. The flavors for the fried chicken are spicy and soy sauce/garlic. A lot of their business definitely comes from Uber Eats, Grub Hub, and Door Dash, all of which are popularly used for many fast food restaurants, especially now because of Covid-19. We saw a few delivery guys enter the restaurant while we were there. We also saw Anna Acolatse, our friend who works there. She's the daughter of the pastor of our church in DC. Bon Chon is slightly less expensive than a Chinese restaurant, but it's definitely more expensive than Burger King or Wendy's. They have other menu items, but I'm sure the fried chicken is the most popular item.
First time visitor to this place. We ordered the soy ginger wings. The glaze on the hot wings was a perfect compliment to the crispy, juicy meat of the legs and wings.
For the main course we ordered the Bibimbop with bulgogi. It came out in a sizzling hot bowl with a fried egg on top. The bowl was hot to the point it fried the rice that was touching it offering a subtle crunch to the mixture. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Been visiting this location for years, it has consistently had great service and great food. If you're looking for a different take on chicken wings this is definitely the place you should visit.
The wings get 5 stars, they are crisper than any I have ever had. The season fries get 2 stars, that's why only 4 stars
It's all about the chicken! It is super crispy outside and juicy and tender inside. Kimchee was good, pickled daikon was on the sweet side. You have to try this place!
