BBQ is just fine. Place is fine and crowded but staff is organized. Our server explained the special entrees of the day and was helpful. Portions are adequate and came out fast."Bikol Express" is very spicy pork cooked with coconut milk, salted fish, etc.
BTW, the skinny girl was fine with us, managed to say hello and bid farewell. Must have read the two reviews on this page.
Little Manila has some outstanding little spots that I’ve been going to since I’ve been a kid. Ihawan is our go-to Filipino joint. Classic, homemade dishes that transport you to the Philippines. It’s the restaurant my wife and I choose to eat at whenever there’s an occasion and there’s a big reason for it. The BBQ!
This review, however, is focused on the drinks because they’re definitely understated and hidden gems in this very comfort-food focused restaurant...
Monday lunch about 2pm. Greeted by friendly staff and a great table location. About 12-15 others are dining as well. Really tastee. Authentic Grill is close to my wife's cooking ( she's still the best ) 😁.
Comfort food at it's finest.
