Great experience. My fiancé and I enjoyed a very pleasant dinner tonight. Service was prompt and very friendly. The food was solidly good: not great, but not at all bad. Next time, we will choose other dishes and work our way through the menu. The quiet atmosphere, attentive (but not hovering) service and reasonable prices will make us repeat customers.
41 years later nothing has changed. It's simply great food and cocktails served w a bit of nostalgia. Teriyaki steak and house salad dressing. Great aps too. It's not Seattle Asian food, it's Yakima all the way and oh so delicious. Great for curing or getting a hangover. Leave your troubles at the door and pretend your in a bad 70s Asian movie scene! The appeal is the owner. Crank Diner hits it on the head..again! The place is old and worn. The food is just okay. The redeeming quality however is the owner. He does a great job of busting his tail to keep everyone happy! The water dripping iceberg lettuce had some wonton and a great dressing and little else. The BBQ pork was superb. Most everything else was fairly bland. The fried rice was not...fried

This place has the friendliest service in town. The food is delicious and fresh, and you will always be entertained by the high level of service from the owner. I got the house chow mein today, and it had shrimp and barbecue pork and chicken and regular pork and Ham and it was delicious. It came with a bowl of pork fried rice and a salad while I was waiting for the main dish to be cooked. This place is much busier at dinner time, but if you want a nice laid-back lunch at a great price come to Keoki's.
I've been eating here my whole life. The menu and food has never changed. Buck the owner works his tail off to provide quality food and a family friendly, fun experience. Chicken Yakitori is all I've ever had and it's delicious as is the side salad with house dressing. We often get take out plus a side order of house dressing.

Amazing! My fiance an I were the only people in there right at around 4:10pm when they were just opening. The manager was so nice and talkative, was very interested in how I had taught myself to eat with chopsticks which I found funny and cute. Enjoyable experience and the food he cooked was delicious! Wasn't too pricey either. Perfect for a date we can't wait to go back for the hibachi experience during their peak hours.
Best Oriental restaurant in town hands down the owner and his sister have the best customer service I've ever seen or came across always full of conversations, jokes and knowledge. The steaks are huge expect a plate just filled with one steak and another for your veggie mix wich is amazing bean sprouts onion and a little bit of cabbage I believe. I could just eat that and be satisfied if I wasn't feeling the steak that day.
First off I have no idea why Google is saying this place is closed permanently, it has been there for 41 years and I ate there again this very evening.
Buck is one of the friendliest hosts/cook/server you could ask for. He loves to talk and playfully interact with his customers/friends. He pretty much runs the whole place by himself most nights but he never gives less than 110%. I always order something from the grill because I love the fresh steamed veggies, the meat is always flavorful, and I like seeing my food prepared right in front of me. Plus his house salad dressing is delicious. I am someone who rarely eats anything that is not blue cheese or ranch, but the sweet and tangy house dressing is great and the lettuce is always cold and crisp.
Even though we have lived in Yakima for a few years, we had never gone to this restaurant until this evening. We thought the food was very good. We ate every bit of it. The owner/manager, Buck, who was born in China, is absolutely delightful. He explained very clearly and thoroughly every menu item about which we asked. He is the chef and does most everything else. His engaging chatter made us feel very much at home. I am sure that we will come back fairly regularly.
