I really like this place. The food is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that the only decaf teas they have are herbal. I wish they had a plain decaf tea, like Salada or Lipton. I brought my own tea bag and had to pay for a cup of tea but didn't use what they brought to the table.
Being from NY and just moving down here I've NEVER been to a Bob Evan's! I can honestly say this is the best breakfast I've ever had from a food chain! I won't be going to IHOP or
Denny's anymore for breakfast! 100% always going to Bob Evans! The wait here wasn't even long for it being Father's Day!!!! The staff was very nice and polite also!!!!
We were in York for a sports tournament. I needed to get my athlete fed quick. I was very surprised there was no wait at 10a on a Sunday. I told the server we were in a hurry. Food came out quick, and the server was responsive to our needs.
We just got easy, simple breakfast items. Scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a cup of their well known sausage gravy, with biscuits. Everything was good, no complaints.
I really like Bob Evans restaurants. The food is consistently good, their prices are excellent and the quality is always the same. I don't like surprises with food, and you won't get any at Bob Evans. This restaurant, like so many others have been hit with labor shortages. It's apparent by the number of employees, but you'd never know it by the speed of the wait staff or the kitchen staff. Bob Evans does so much better working with the limited employees than many other restaurants. To me this speaks to the professionalism of the staff and management coworkers with everyone else. If a restaurant can remain consistent under these circumstances, they've got to be doing something right. The proof is in the food.
