Bonnie P was our waitress. She bridled and guided the excitement and adventure of 4 midwest girls experiencing Maine for the first time. She was kind and generous with her knowledge. Food was first rate! We each chose a different signature dish, so we could all try it. Had a couple of lobster novices in our group, but they threw caution to the wind and dug in! Great time, great food, great view!
I looked forward to my 1st Maine lobster and was very pleased with the meal! Traveling on vacation, the reviews were spot on. Upstair views were beautiful. At first we were seated away from the ocean but still had a water view. It was early lunch and not over crowded. A table opened providing a better view and staff was accommodating when we asked to move. However, as stated by others, after we were seated, our server took awhile before returning to ask for our drinks. After our move, again it was a long time to take our order. After serving our food, again no return until we were done. Our server was pleasant, but probably needed at least 2 servers to accomadate the guests.

If you ever want to eat an old fashion lobster meal from Maine, this is the place to have it. The food here was excellent, and many compliments to the chefs! I highly recommend trying the “Down East Shore” Dinner plate. The plate includes a 1 ¼ pound lobster, a delicious cup of New England Clam chowder, fifteen or more steamed clams, a baked potato as well as other options, and a sweet potato side. That said, what seemed to be missing from the menu was a “Hush Puppy?”
The cost of the meals for four adults was amazingly excellent given the quality and quantity. Please keep in mind the price for lobsters depend on the market value at the time of purchase. I believe I paid approximately twenty-five dollars for my 1 ¼ pound lobster in Maine, but I know for a fact, we would have paid double if we were back home in the Great Pacific Northwest.
As for the staff, they were friendly and professional, especially the manager/owner. She was very warm and welcoming, and the staff made sure we felt welcome and were attentive to our needs. The establishment was nice and clean, including the restroom facility, and the view overlooking the water across the street was breathtaking.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! I definitely left satisfied, and if I should ever return — I would definitely stop back by to enjoy another tasty lobster dinner!
Excellent service! This was the first time I had eaten a whole lobster and our server was kind enough to show me how to eat it. She was very friendly and attentive. We had crab cakes, clam chowder, lobster bisque, whole lobster and the blueberry pie. Food was good and what I expected for a Maine lobster meal.
Lovely oceanfront restaurant with awesome food and stunning views of the beach. It was fun to interact with the team serving our meal. Enjoyed my Lobster Roll with Sweet Potato fries but the highlight of this mini vacation experience was my Blueberry Mule and for dessert homemade Blueberry Pie (a collaboration with a local farm/bakery) and Blueberry Ice Cream. Such an awesome treat! 🫐
It was recommended to us that we need to try the lobster cove and boy was that recommendation correct! The service was very friendly and quick. Not having ocean fresh seafood and a very long time, I was in a bind about what to have. Our waitress recommended an option I had not seen to get two types of seafood instead of just one and that's what I did. The food was amazing! If you are ever near this restaurant definitely give it a try. The food not only case amazing, it looks amazing too. The staff was very, very friendly and welcoming. If you are in this area of Maine and want a view of the nubble lighthouse and the ocean, get your eyes and bellies full at lobster cove.
Food was decent. Service was very friendly and prompt. If you go during daylight, there is a good view of the ocean from inside the restaurant. Five of us ate. 3 seafood dishes and 2 non-seafood. Soups were good, meals were good except the chicken marsala which was just OK. They had good pies for dessert also.
Their Lobster Roll was amazing, even without the roll. They substituted fries and cold slaw for an amazing side of roasted broccoli. My wife said this is her new favorite restaurant. Thank you!
Loved it! Had to try the lobster roll while in Maine, and I was not disappointed. Ocean views; the best lobster roll I’ve ever had. What’s not to love?
Small interior, but the views are amazing looking at the Atlantic Ocean! Lobster is caught local every day. The price for lobster is current market value. Coke products and the Malibu Rum Fruit Punch drink is delicious! 🍹 The dill pickles are crunchy and satisfying. Shout out to Camden for taking care of four hungry ladies!
