The best place around if you want something cold or sweet. The owners are great, and Brian is always coming up with a new specialty flavor. I did the 100 flavor challenge last year, and it was awesome. I found flavors I love that I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise, and everyone there really cheers you on. It's very kid friendly. They have all kinds of games for kids to play, and the snowballs themselves are inexpensive. I've never had a bad time at Pelican's in York.
I've been to the Pelicans in Fort Mill, Tega Cay, and Rock Hill. This Pelicans is absolutely the best! Their staff is friendly, they listen very carefully to their customers, they treat their customers like their own family. I absolutely love taking my kids to this specific Pelicans location. Moving from Fort Mill to York, I was afraid I wouldn't have a good Pelicans here. Now I'm so happy about my move, I'm never going back to the Fort Mill/ Tega Cay/ Rock Hill locations ever again.
They have the best snow cones (snowballs). Its the shaved ice unlike some places where its mre if a crushed ice. The owner is super nice and so is the staff. They want you to have a great experience. Plus, they have a fun area for the kids to play while your there.
My kids and wife an I love going to this place it's always good with all the options for anyone and a great are for the kids to play.
This is my family's new favorite place to eat. We tried these at the 4th of July bash at the school and couldn't get enough. My son loves that there is a shark one. And my oldest favorite flavor is butter beer. I tried the ice cream in it today and it was good. Definitely will be having it again. I can't wait to go back next weekend. They also offer pelican dollars and you can save extra money that way too!!

Update: We still love this place. Super friendly folks, fun outside area for kids. We continue to drive to this location even though there is another pelicans closer.
We go to this Pelicans when we are at my parents.. Best Pelicans I've ever been to. The owner is so friendly and always doing whatever he can for his customers. Prices are also less than the Pelicans I go to where I live and there is nothing outside to play with or to keep kids occupied. The owner of this Pelicans has a set up outside that is awesome, both for kids and adults. I highly recommend this location and we will continue to bring business here because we've had such a great experience every time! Thank you!
Update 4-22-22 Still an amazing fun place to take the kids and grandkids! They are always adding fun activities to play.
Always a great time! So many things to do and toys to play with and great prices for yummy cool treats. Cannot beat a visit to Pelicans.
