Dicono di noi: Excellent meal here for 9 people the other evening. We’d booked in advance but turned up a little early weary from wandering around and they were very welcoming. The menu is excellent, great for our vegan and two veggies and it was welcome to change it up from Italian food. My 16 year old vegetarian loves Italian but said this was the best meal of the holiday so far for her. She had a vegetable tagine with nuts, veggies and yogurt (they can do a vegan version too). We had loads of hummus, taramasalata, babaganoush with delicious bread to start. I had spicy lamp with rice and broad beans which was great, my husband had the veggie lasagne and one nieces had spicy chicken with rice and cardamom which wasn’t too spicy and which they loved. Definitely recommend this place.

Dicono di noi: Trovato in quanto abbiamo visitato all'ora di pranzo la mostra affianco ed essendo l'unico locale dell'isola la tappa è stata quasi obbligatoria. Il locale è molto carino in quanto all'esterno gode di un'ottima vista sul porticciolo. Partendo dal presupposto che i prezzi per la quantità di cibo che offrono sono cari vengono leggermente compensati dalla qualità. Personale gentile e ambiente moderno e ricercato.

Calamari appena scongelato e buttati nella friggitrice senza essere asciugato prima dal acqua. Patate in saor con presenza di muffa.x 12 euro andate a mangiare altrove.si mangia meglio

Dicono di noi: Sono stata qui a cena con il mio fidanzato.... Non ho MAI mangiato una pizza così cattiva, si capiva benissimo che era pizza surgelata! 10 euro per una pizza surgelata !!! Insieme abbiamo preso una porzione di patatine che erano state riscaldate più e più volte si capiva dal gusto ... Onestamente anche il servizio non è stato nulla di eccezionale... Volevamo alzarci e andarcene ma per educazione ho preferito restare comunque e non fare discussioni ma davvero pessimo, non mettete il servizio pizze se non avete la possibilità di darlo, per mangiare la pizza surgelata me la compravo al supermercato

Dicono di noi: Sono passata questa sera, ho ordinato al banco due birre piccole e un tramezzino, il prezzo sulla vetrina indicava chiaramente il costo (2 euro) mi siedo, vado a pagare e mi presentano uno scontrino di 13 euro e cinquanta, chiedo spiegazioni e mi viene risposto che il tramezzino costava 3,50 e due birre PICCOLE 10 euro. La solita trappola per turisti, ma non c è più da stupirsi ormai a Venezia, è un miracolo se non si viene trattati con scortesia o fregati!

Dicono di noi: When I asked the waiter if we can sit outside and eat, he was already not really welcoming. We ordered our drinks and a menu, which is when we noticed how slow the service is. The Spritz are so wattery, I don’t even think there was alcohol in them. We saw on the menu that everything was expensive, so we just decided to take pizzas and french fries, which were already 8€ and 6€. And then, the french fries arrived at our table : about ten poor tasting french fries on a small plate that I would barely buy 50 cents. Let’s just say we were afraid of how the pizzas were going to be, and we were right. It might be the worst « pizza » I’ve ever had : the very thin crust was almost a cracker, the little amount of cheese tasted bad and it wasn’t really warm when I got it. At this point, never mind, we just ate and were happy to have food. But unfortunately for us, it was not finished yet : we went to pay and the waiter told us, at the very last moment, the sitting cost 5€... per person. I paid 16€ for a crappy service, a mediocre spritz, the worst pizza I’ve ever had and then 5€ just because they didn’t steal enough from me yet. So yeah, we should have read the reviews so here it is for you : avoid, avoid, AVOID ! Out of everything, the kids playing with the pigeons were the most entertaining thing about this meal. Finally, why can’t put a zero, or even negative score, on Tripadvisor ?

Dicono di noi: I can say this without any hesitation: Casa Dea Corte is the friendliest and realest place I know of to eat or drink in Venice. I have been to Venice a few times, this time I went with my mom. We always try to find unpretentious places to eat, where the quality of the food and service speaks for itself. So when we were looking inside this small yard, just far enough away from the big touristy streets that you could forget they are there, we immediately knew we had to check it out. We never looked back from there. Everybody is supersuper friendly and welcoming. Oliver, the host, also does the cooking. He offers a great selection of Cicchetti and there is also a small seasonal menu of pasta dishes and some other things, which seems to vary, depending on what's available at the market that day. When you watch Oliver through the window you realise - this is the real deal. Everything is freshly cooked with lots of love and knowledge about classical Venetian cooking. No unnecessarily fancy stuff, just really, really good food. The waiter was always happy to recommend a few dishes to us as well as explain them a bit if needed. We tried different Cicchetti, as well as some pasta dishes (among others, Bigoli in Salsa were amazing, Pasta alla Busara was also soo good). For the remainder of our stay, which was three days, we came back two times. Would have been more often, if we stayed longer. I also believe this might be an awesome place to go and just chill and drink some beers or Aperol or wine. But I will find out anyway the next time I am in Venice as I will be coming back to Casa Dea Corte 110 percent, no questions asked. Thank you guys for everything! Definitely the highlight of our trip.
