Dicono di noi: When you walk from the vaporetto quai to the cathedral on Torcello, you pass by a number of restaurants. The one that has the most visual appeal by far is this one. And while it was a little too chilly the day we were there to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the view of the garden, inside was nice too. The highlight of our lunch was definitely the risotto of the "Go" fish, a dish we had heard is a specialty not just of the islands, but perhaps of Venice in general. Anyway, this was the one place I had noticed it on the menu, so I ordered it. They serve it as for 2 people only - but they were very nice, in the sense that I cannot eat cheese (dairy allergy), and they agreed (since the cheese is part of the finish anyway) to leave it off my portion. And let me tell you, while this dish is simple in one sense, even without the cheese, I found it to be rich and flavorful, and of course incredibly creamy. Just lovely.
