We stumbled upon this very lovely restaurant quite by chance because we happened to be renting a holiday apartment extremely close by in this quiet, mainly residential area.
It proved to be an extremely lucky find for us, since it meant we were able to eat an early, relaxed and very wholesome lunch on our last day in Bologna before we boarded a bus bound for the train station.
It's an extremely pretty and friendly restaurant, and it serves a truly excellent range of vegan and vegetarian food. It's quite small, though (just one round table that seats 4-6 plus bar-seating for around 6), and it operates on the same principle as Zazie, i.e. all the crockery and cutlery are single-use paper/plastic.
My hearty lunch platter comprised: polpette di verdura: cicoria con peperonico; treccia con melanzane; funghetto e parmigiana; and my husband took the same with gnocchi a la Romania con crema di zucchine added in.
Everything was truly delicious.
We also had some water; and I drank a mocha coffee. And our bill came to just €23!!
