We visited Starbene in Lucca to grab something sweet on the go during out sight seeing tour of the city. It was really nice to find a place offering gluten free food not vert far from the old city, yet the ratio between price and quality wasn't very satisfying. Either the cakes weren't very good or simply old. The place was rather small with a limited choice of products. As for the service it was ok, communication in English was not a problem. Overall we visited much better places offering gluten free food during out trips to Italy.
