Coffee: il migliore a Pienza

Dicono di noi: Constant Companion and I visited Torrefazione Caffe GM along with our culinary group. It is a family operation, which roasts coffee in the traditional Tuscan way burning wood. The owners were kind enough to explain all the steps in the roasting process and to allow us to sample their Caffe Nobile, Superiore, and Extra Nobile blends. CC and I thought the wood roasting technique created a fragrant coffee unlike any other! The Nobiles are slightly acidic while the Superiore is a creamy product. Our favorite was the Nobile which was both elegant and not as strong as the Extra Nobile. Their shop offers all their coffees for sale either whole bean or they will grind it fresh along with lots of coffee related paraphernalia. We purchased several bags of the Nobile whole bean to take home. Such a nice reminder of Tuscany's beauty! Worth a visit-right outside Pienza!

Dicono di noi: Chiedete la terrazza, ottima location su uno dei panorami più belli. Il menù rispetta la tradizione toscana, piatti gustosi e genuini, peccato che per i piccoli le alternative siano limitate.Un'attenzione in più la merita il servizio per esempio con mescita dei vini al tavolo è ancora una volta le sedute per i bambini (disponibili ma non offerte).buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Dicono di noi: Don't remember the new name but it is immediately adjacent to the San Gregorio hotel. Great spot for wine and free finger food at happy hour. Very reasonable prices. Locals go here, what else do you need to know?? This is not a restaurant but more of an outside bar. Very clean and very safe ? like every other area of Pienza. Good for coffee and pastries as well.
