Dicono di noi: Seeing the Trip Advisor award on the window and noting that the cafe offered Lasagna today, we decided to stop there for lunch. We asked for the Lasagna but were told there was none - there were no customers in the shop and it was unlikely that any had been in since 11.00am this morning. We asked whether the spaghetti with peppers or the gnocchi with arrabiata were available and were told they too were not available. We were offered orchette with tomato and given that we did not wish to walk back into the town for a meal we asked for a serving to take away. It had to be cooked and so we had to wait and the serve for one person take away without cutlery was over E7 and was just boiled pasta with some tomatoes squashed into it with a 1/4 teaspoon of cheese. The decor is aged with everything dusty and dirty. The curtains had not been washed for at least five or more years and were filthy. The food display cabinet contained obviously old and stale sandwiches and pastries. The cabinet was filled with tat - ie lob-sided hats and bags and baskets made from newspaper and magazines. The bar was filled with half empty bottles that looked like they had been there years. Only three people came into the cafe/bar while we were there and drank coffee - so no meals sold. The real business of the manager is a cab and limousine service. The Trip Advisor rating must be removed from these premises. Do not go to this place.
