ジェラート: il migliore a Roma

Dicono di noi: We stopped in because it was on the path of one of our walks at the right moment we needed another gelato. Boy were we delighted! All their gelato is made with natural flavors and colors. I was told by a Roman that you can tell if the gelato is good if their pistachio flavor is more on the brown side than the green side. That tells you they don't put artificial flavors and colors in the mix. The flavors here are intense and so, so good. We took our gelato to go and as we ate we soon realized we should have gotten more. We made a special trip back to get more a couple of days later. We had gelato at other places but they were NOT as good as this place. The price was about the same as everywhere else--way more expensive than American ice cream but, well, "when in Rome..."
