Pizzas: il migliore a Sorrento

Dicono di noi: Our group of 7 travellers came across this little pizza place while walking into town. We were all hungry and thirsty. From what we could see, the pizza looked pretty good and they were advertising frozen glasses for their beer. What could be better? We all piled into the patio and ordered several pizzas and beers. The prices are very reasonable and the service is speedy but best of all, the pizza was delicious and the beer was absolutely served in frozen glasses. We liked it so much we came back again a couple of days later. Highly recommend.

Dicono di noi: Even though it looks like it's sponsored by EasyJet the quality of food and service excelled every other cafe, let alone, restaurant in Sorrento we visited. As it was situated opposite where we were staying we wandered over just after we arrived for a cheeky beer. As we were a bit peckish we ordered a couple of different bruschettas. Cripes-almighty. We had never tasted anything like it! We ended-up going back every other evening to the point where the staff (Angela & Gerry) would welcome us with big waves & smiles. Their 'fennel bread' is to die for, either with bruschetta or just dipped in oil & balsamic. Their pizza rivaled any big restaurant in Sorrento and their cheeky little deserts were fabulous. (Apparently they couldn't afford a unit in the town itself and have had to settle for passing trade and word of mouth). On our last day they had their work cut out as when we arrived there was a table laid out for over ten locals who wanted a specific menu (which they nailed completely). Random people would come over to us while we were there (when they heard us speaking English) and rave about the food and staff too. At the end of the night Angela ran inside when she saw we were going and came back out with a jar of home-made fig & almond jam that she made just for us (*gulp!*). What a star couple they are. I really hope for you all who are going to Sorrento that they will still be there next season. If they have moved location we would actually consider changing holiday destination to taste their food again...really.

Dicono di noi: We used this bar several times while staying at the Grand Hotel Hermitage in St Agata. It was lovely to find a traditional authentic Italian bar and restaurant in the totally unspoilt village of St Agata. From the first time we visited for a coffee we were served complimentary pastries. We then visited for a beer and a glass of wine and were always served up with complimentary crisps. Not a huge menu but plenty of salads, pizzas and bruschetta etc. Also a lovely selection of cakes and pastries. It is a family run bar going back several generations and a lovely touch is a short film they play on a tv screen which explains the origins of the bar and it’s history. Really enjoyed our visits to this fantastic local bar which was very popular with locals and tourists. Would not hesitate to recommend if you are in the area. Fantastic service and always served with a smile and very reasonable.

Dicono di noi: visited Tony & Rosy's a couple of times while staying in Sorrento for take away Pizza you order your pizza and you see the fresh dough made into a pizza while you wait. make sure you have a good appetite as the pizzas are big and good value. Dicono di noi: Per chi lavora in zona è un buon compromesso, varietà di cibi i primi sono davvero buoni, poi i secondi e contorni e anche frittura e pizze sia per pranzo che cena. Parliamo di piatti che saziano, dal carne al pesce, alle zuppe poi la consegna a domicilio e soprattutto al giusto prezzo, è davvero una soluzione a chi, come me, lavora e non ha il tempo di cucinare.

Dicono di noi: Just had fantastic steak and local wine at the kiosk. Food better than some of smart restaurants in center. Even in quiet Sorrento wearing masks the kiosk still offers usual great service and food. Drinks are all great from variety of wine and beer. Don't be fooled to think its just for a quick pint. Prices good as well. Always visit when in Sorrento.???

Dicono di noi: Ottimo posto dove trascorrere un poco di tempo a contatto con la natura . Indicato specialmente per i bambini che si divertiranno a girare per la fattoria e guardare gli animali . Ottimi prodotti ed ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità

Dicono di noi: Sono stata in questo pub con una coppia di amici, siamo stati subito accolti da una simpatica ragazza dai capelli ricci, abbiano ordinato delle birre e dei gustosi panini, anche il dolce mi è molto piaciuto, io ho preso una delizia al pistacchio, ma ho assaggiato anche quella al limone e devo dire che erano entrambe ottime.

Dicono di noi: We had just arrived in Sorrento and jet lagged, so decided on takeaway from opposite our hotel. This place specialises in pizza and roast chicken, although there are other options. We had a generous sized family Margherita pizza, half a chicken with potatoes, 2 bottles of beer and 2 large bottles of water for €21. The quality of the food was very good for the price, which is probably why it was busy every night we walked past. Service was quick too.

Dicono di noi: Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante venerdì, curiosi di provare la pizza di Antonino Esposito. Volevamo provare il percorso degustazione, ma ci è stato detto che per una questione di tempistiche veniva svolto solo a inizio serata (noi abbiamo iniziato intorno alle 20.45). Ci è stato consigliato quindi di crearci il nostro percorso scegliendo pizze diverse che ci sarebbero state portate una in coda all’altra e così abbiamo fatto: una pizza fritta, una pizza classica e per concludere un babà con crema chantilly. È stato tutto veramente buonissimo, non ho mai mangiato una pizza così buona! Leggere (anche la fritta, sorprendentemente) e con ingredienti di qualità. Il personale è stato molto cortese per tutto il servizio e il conto adeguato alle scelte (46€ con 2 bottiglie di acqua).

Dicono di noi: La struttura è ubicata in pieno centro, nel bel mezzo dell'isola pedonale, circondata di locali, botteghe e ristoranti. Le camere molto accoglienti e curate nei minimi particolari all'interno di un palazzo del settecento di recente ristrutturazione. L'ideale per chi vuole soggiornare a Sorrento e spostarsi a piedi. Educato e riservato il personale.

Dicono di noi: The sandwiches are big, and they're not bad, just... not great. We had two sandwiches, my gf had Scostumato (6€) that wasn't bad, but the mushrooms were slimey and felt like they came out of a can. I couldn't decide on something from the menu, and then we saw a pic of a sandwich on the counter that looked great, I think it was called Polpetto because it had big meatballs with tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella slices. I got that (8€). The sandwich I got had meatballs alright, and it was big, but there was no mozzarella at all. I told them that and they added it which really added to it. The was a tiny piece of basil deep in the sandwich and the meatballs were lukewarm. So, not bad, but not great. I wouldn't say it's cheap/affordable, but since prices in Sorrento seems jacked up because of tourism, it's not that bad.
