Starter: il migliore a Sorrento

Dicono di noi: This restaurant is inside the Hotel Plaza Sorrento. We ate two dinners and a daily breakfast as guests of the hotel during a tour of the Amalfi coast. The dinners were each 4 course meals with an appetizer or salad, first course, second course and dessert. One night we had pasta as the starter, while we had a smoked salmon the second night. Both were tasty and ample. Our main courses were chicken with mushrooms and a white fish; both also were quite tasty. The breakfast buffet each day had eggs, cereals, cheeses, meats and a wide range of breads, pastries and other sweets. Everything was well presented, fresh and tasty

Dicono di noi: This is a beautiful setting and we were excited to eat here as it looks so great - but that is where the good news stops! The poor waiter was in his own for 8 tables and running like a lunatic back and forth! We waited over an hour for starter and bread and then took almost 2 and half hours to eat - was so slow and the guy was trying to crack jokes with us as maybe he was embarrassed- the hotel needs more staff for a top restaurant- especially with the prices they are charging!! Also they make you sign the bill at the beginning of the meal! Like you are at McDonald’s and gonna run away without paying! Not good!!! Would not go back was like fawlty towers!!! We went out for dinner the 2nd night to soul and fish and was like night and day! Amazing would go back there in a second -

Dicono di noi: La struttura è ubicata in pieno centro, nel bel mezzo dell'isola pedonale, circondata di locali, botteghe e ristoranti. Le camere molto accoglienti e curate nei minimi particolari all'interno di un palazzo del settecento di recente ristrutturazione. L'ideale per chi vuole soggiornare a Sorrento e spostarsi a piedi. Educato e riservato il personale.

Dicono di noi: The sandwiches are big, and they're not bad, just... not great. We had two sandwiches, my gf had Scostumato (6€) that wasn't bad, but the mushrooms were slimey and felt like they came out of a can. I couldn't decide on something from the menu, and then we saw a pic of a sandwich on the counter that looked great, I think it was called Polpetto because it had big meatballs with tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella slices. I got that (8€). The sandwich I got had meatballs alright, and it was big, but there was no mozzarella at all. I told them that and they added it which really added to it. The was a tiny piece of basil deep in the sandwich and the meatballs were lukewarm. So, not bad, but not great. I wouldn't say it's cheap/affordable, but since prices in Sorrento seems jacked up because of tourism, it's not that bad.

Dicono di noi: Ristorante, pizzeria e tanto altro, al centro di Sorrento. Comodo parcheggio a meno di 50m. Struttura molto bella con un grande giardino ben curato, da migliorare i bagni. Siamo stati di sabato sera in questo posto, abbiamo mangiato Pizza, molto buone, anche se, mio consiglio, da rivedere i prezzi. I gusti non sono tantissimi e tranne una da 10€, il resto sono o da 6€(tipo Margherita, marinara) o 12€ (con crudo), non ci sono nel menù pizze “intermedie” tipo capricciosa, diavola, 4 formaggi... nel complesso sicuramente un posto da consigliare.

Dicono di noi: Siamo stati l'altro ieri a pranzo..ci siamo fermati per puro caso e siamo rimasti a dir poco soddisfatti....Abbiamo pranzato divinamente con una linguina all'astice buonissima..davvero ottima..cottura perfetta..e a seguire una frittura di calamari freschissima e asciutta...Personale molto gentile e cordiale...prezzo onesto..ottima qualità...Lo consiglio..Ottimo posto..appena si potrà ritorneremo sicuramente

Dicono di noi: Ci sono stato ieri sera per il compleanno di mia moglie. C’è poco da dire: Location: eccellente Cibo: eccellente Servizio: eccellente Altissima professionalità. Il personale è appassionato e riesce a dimostrarlo con qualità e senza essere chissoso. Spero di tornarci presto.
