This is a lovely, small restaurant located in the Grand Hotel Dei Dogi in the northern part of Cannaregio. We ate there our first night in Venice as we were guests in the hotel.
The menu is short and interesting. But the prices are to die for (literally). Pastas are in the 24 Euro range (almost double other places), and other dishes are more. Even the desserts are 18 Euro, as was a glass of Amarone (maybe even 20 Euro). The maitre d' was a bit overbearing and full of himself, the waiter was fine.
The food was interesting and innovative, but the high prices and isolated location may deter many. We will not return as there are many other better priced options in Venice.
