Cafe con leche y croisants: il migliore a Venezia

Dicono di noi: We only went here because we’d just arrived to Venice and settled into our Dorsoduro Neighborhood apartment on New Year’s Eve afternoon. Concerned that restaurants would close early we went here for lunch and it was average. Everything was pretty average but the pasta I had (see picture) was fine but not really special. It was the best entree of the ones we ordered. Our daughter’s Carbonara was more like Mac and Cheese. Not acceptable and not eaten. We paid $75 Euros for 3 people for lunch and are still talking about how we should have skipped this average restaurant and found another close by. There is a street not far away with excellent restaurants which are more authentic Venetian cuisine. This was a forgettable meal on a trip where we had LOTS of meals to compare it to. Venice is incredible and you have to go but pass on this place.
