Dicono di noi: Siamo andati a cena, tralasciando il servizio di pessima qualità, ci hanno servito come benvenuto gnocco fritto con involtini di mortadella che emanava un cattivo odore. Successivamente ci portano una pizza metro salamini e melanzane...e qui la sorpresa!! Oltre l'impasto completamente indurito la assaggiamo e risulta immangiabile ! La conserva di pomodoro messa sopra priva di condimento e i salamini erano rancidi e emanavano un odore cattivissimo. Ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via. Degna della trasmissione " Cucine da Incubo" !

La pasta al nero di seppia mangiata da mio marito è una delle migliori mai provata. Dalla composizione dei commensali a fianco a noi si capisce che è un luogo frequentato dai locali. Da non perdere

We happened to pass by Hommos Falafel and the just smell drew us into the store. Their menu had a great selection; but we were going to just order a side order of falafels only. Adnan, the employee, fried the falafels fresh right in front of us. Boy, were they the BEST falafels we have ever had. We engaged in further conversation with Adnan, who is a very delightful and friendly person with great customer service attitude, and continued ordering more food (which included several more orders of falafels and chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches, and fries). We left the store with totally pleased palates and tummies. If we ever make it back to Venice, we are for sure coming back here.

Abbiamo scelto questo locale per le ottime recensioni, e non siamo rimasti delusi. Locale piccolino ma accogliente, personale giovane e cordiale; ampia scelta fra panini, piadine e tramezzini con prodotti di qualità. Prezzi ottimi se rapportati allo standing della città. Dicono di noi: We ordered pizza margherita, which came with a dry, hard, thin crust that was almost impossible to cut with the table knives available. A most tasteless and difficult-to-eat pizza. Table service was otherwise good. When I paid, I was given as change a 20-cent coin instead of a half-euro. I pointed out the error, which was corrected on the spot, but got a strong feeling that the employee was anticipating this possibility. The two coins are similar, and everyone makes mistakes, but this guy handles coins all day, and didn't give me the impression that he'd made an error. 30 cents are hardly going to hurt me, but the way it seems to have been done, together with the poor food, left us disappointed.

Accoglienza cordiale, apprezzato l'antipasto misto e l'uramaki, meno il pad thai chicken ed il conto, supportato da due birre medie, fatte pagare 15 euro che non li valevano. Perplessi per quanto riguarda la cucina dove abbiamo sbirciato vedendo quello che non dovrebbe esserci in un ambiente di ristorante curato, ovvero impressione di scarsa igiene in uno spazio troppo limitato per lavorare in sicurezza.

Dicono di noi: Veramente delusa. Io e il mio compagno abbiamo pagato due antipasti e due primi decisamente cari e nessuno di qualità. In più, il ristorante, spacciato per ristorante di cucina italiana, è gestito da uno chef asiatico che non sa neanche cucinare la pasta. L’antipasto senza sapore e senza nessun condimento con materie prime chiaramente congelate. Assolutamente bocciato. Ho fatto anche presente al cameriere, anch’esso straniero, della bassa qualità dei loro piatti ma non si è scomposto più di tanto, anzi, ci ha consegnato lo scontrino senza alcuno sconto, nonostante avessimo mollato le pietanze, tanto da dover poi ricenare in un altro posto.

Dicono di noi: Excellent meal here for 9 people the other evening. We’d booked in advance but turned up a little early weary from wandering around and they were very welcoming. The menu is excellent, great for our vegan and two veggies and it was welcome to change it up from Italian food. My 16 year old vegetarian loves Italian but said this was the best meal of the holiday so far for her. She had a vegetable tagine with nuts, veggies and yogurt (they can do a vegan version too). We had loads of hummus, taramasalata, babaganoush with delicious bread to start. I had spicy lamp with rice and broad beans which was great, my husband had the veggie lasagne and one nieces had spicy chicken with rice and cardamom which wasn’t too spicy and which they loved. Definitely recommend this place.

Ate here twice; first visit it was the Salad on the sign that brought us in, I needed something other than pizza or pasta. The second visit had the Pizza both were good and they have soda or beer. They have other bar drinks and coffee - locals would come in and stand at counter and just have a drink or carry it out. It is not a fancy restaurant just bench seats and cartoon murals on the walls.

Dicono di noi: Tucked away in a little alleyway I went to this restaurant in the middle of October. Seating was quick as they have a man outside beckoning customers in. He was very friendly, especially gifted at making children laugh. I ordered the prawn cocktail which was SO GOOD with many prawns and lots of cocktail sauce [best I had over the 3 months I was in Europe]. I then had the tagliatelle of mushrooms which was also really good and lastly the Catalonia creme brûlée / custard which wasn't very nice on the top but the custard underneath the unmelted sugar was yummy. Seating fee was E2.50, reasonable and all up I paid E43, plus a tip. I didn't need dinner that night. I highly recommend this place as the service is steady and it is very homely. I went for lunch and you may need to book when it opens again as it was very popular and busy for dinner.

Dicono di noi: We found this restaurant and were so excited ? to not be eating pizza and pasta after 10 days in Various areas in Italy ?? The food was a lovely reprieve indeed, we had fried rice and sizzling chicken, the rice was average but the chicken on hot plate as it was described was fresh and delicious. We had the fried banana for dessert which had was heavenly with wisps of toffee piled up and toffee coating and ice cream, they were amazing. We returned for lunch the day we were leaving Venice and they made lemon chicken for us which was soooo fresh it was amazing and a lovely light lemon sauce not thick or gooey. Of course we had the fried bananas again, it was superb. We found the service very friendly and were given a shot of Chinese wine complimentary when we finished our meal, this was delicious too! If you need a break from the carb overload - give this a try! I was very surprised to see the other reviews on here as we found it an oasis in a see of pizza ?

Dicono di noi: Passed by and saw a range of food so was tempted to go in. Service was a bit cold to begin with and found one of the waitresses a bit patronising and rude. But the worse thing was that the portions were very small for the price! The amount of noodles were minuscule compared to the size of the massive bowl it was served in. Fried rice was really greasy and left a coat of grease in my bowl. Food was also very salty. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place :(
