We went there on 6 occasions in the late afternoon for a select spritz (NOT with aperol which the ignorant favour) before returning to our hotel. The view over Dorsoduro, San Marco, San Giorgio, and Castello is just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Both the young man and the young lady who tend this bar are very pleasant but reserved--which we liked very much. The spritzes is this context become a gift from heaven. Highly, highly recommended.

Dicono di noi: In base alla mia esperienza, fatico a capire la quantità di commenti negativi qui sotto riportati. Comunque, mi sono limitato a ordinare mezzo litro di acqua e una centrifuga. Siamo rimasti seduti ben oltre un'ora. Panorama mozzafiato e, visto il periodo, poca gente. Esperienza unica che ha il suo costo. Il servizio mi è sembrato cordiale e attento.

Dicono di noi: Nous avons commandé 6 plats de pâtes tous excellents: à la tomate, au ragoût, au gorgonzola et à la burrata. Tout le monde était conquis de ces pâtes fraîches bien préparées, ce sont de loin les meilleurs pâtes que nous avons mangé à Venise en 5 jours. Le personnel était souriant et à l’écoute. (Le vin était très bon, mais servi un peu trop chaud) Grazie mille !

Dicono di noi: Last night we had such an enjoyable dinner at this bar that we decided to have a number of cold starters for tonights evening meal. As Italy still allows smoking while eating at outside tables we asked if we could sit inside at a resturant table. The waitstaff were happy to oblige and turned on the A/C for us to be comfortable. The food and drinks arrived promptly and we started to enjoy our meal. Not too long into our meal a member of kitchen staff decided to use the sink at the bar in the dining room to do some cleaning of pots and pans. Not too quiety I might add. Our waiter him to be quieter but he kept it up. The food and service were very good but if it is cold, or you do not want to eat your food in cigarette smoke and you are seated in the restaurant prepare for a noisy show.

Ate here twice; first visit it was the Salad on the sign that brought us in, I needed something other than pizza or pasta. The second visit had the Pizza both were good and they have soda or beer. They have other bar drinks and coffee - locals would come in and stand at counter and just have a drink or carry it out. It is not a fancy restaurant just bench seats and cartoon murals on the walls.

Incredibile, 7 euro in due per un cappuccino bello spumoso e tanto e un friabile croissant alle mele o crema.. O altro. Un tocco di gentilissima premura : avevo aperto il quotidiano, incauta delle norme restrittive del covid, il proprietario, silenziosamente, si è avvicinato per ricordarmelo.

Dicono di noi: Whilst walking near to The Rialto Bridge we were feeling a little peckish so purchased some food here, which was okay and appeared to be fresh. Plenty of varieties available, a little more expensive probably because of its location. Afterwards I wondered if they would sell it all in one day! Most of the food was not covered or had any indication of when it was made or should be eaten by, which is a bit of a worry!

Dicono di noi: La comida es correcta, sin mas y el precio con las bebidas como el resto de Venecia. Nos sorprendio que lo regentara una familia China muy amable por cierto. Sobre todo escribo esta reseña para agradecer el gesto de honradez del dueño cuando al dejarnos olvidado el movil , salio corriendo a buscarnos para entregarnoslo. Buena gente.

Dicono di noi: Tucked away in a little alleyway I went to this restaurant in the middle of October. Seating was quick as they have a man outside beckoning customers in. He was very friendly, especially gifted at making children laugh. I ordered the prawn cocktail which was SO GOOD with many prawns and lots of cocktail sauce [best I had over the 3 months I was in Europe]. I then had the tagliatelle of mushrooms which was also really good and lastly the Catalonia creme brûlée / custard which wasn't very nice on the top but the custard underneath the unmelted sugar was yummy. Seating fee was E2.50, reasonable and all up I paid E43, plus a tip. I didn't need dinner that night. I highly recommend this place as the service is steady and it is very homely. I went for lunch and you may need to book when it opens again as it was very popular and busy for dinner.

Dicono di noi: Sia i prodotti di pasticceria che di caffetteria sono buoni e abbondanti, ma, a mio parere molto grave, il menù non riportava i prezzi. Almeno, noi non siamo riusciti a trovarli: tante foto e descrizioni, ma di prezzi...neanche l’ombra. Ovvio che poi alla cassa abbiamo avuto una “gran bella sorpresa”. Questo è “un buon modo” per perdere i clienti. Male!
