Moretti: il migliore a Venezia

Dicono di noi: Buoni vini ma soprattutto ottimi in particolare quelli al baccalà mantecato. Unica pecca pochi tavoli per sedersi ma basta addattarsi??

Dicono di noi: A 50 metri c'è il ristorante pizzeria il Tinelllo che fa pure asporto. Colpa mia a non aver controllato meglio tripadvisor, non si ripeterà.

Dicono di noi: 6 bocconcini di mozzarella, 4 pomodori e due foglie di basilico, 14 fettine di prosciutto = 39 euro???. Birra moretti in bottiglia da cl66......6 euro e senza alternativa di marca???, 2,5euro x il coperto.......neanche avessimo avuto i tovaglioli di seta. Per il resto niente di che, con una cacio e pepe da insufficenza e una matriciana appena sufficiente.

Dicono di noi: Caffè storico in piazza San Marco, niente da aggiungere... perfetto come sempre, la sala interna spettacolare e il lampadario, un tocco di classe. Complimenti.

Dicono di noi: Ordini un negroni e mi arriva un americano, mi lamento con il personale e mi sono procurato una risposta abbastanza sgarbata, e vabbè, il cameriere va dentro e torna con una bottiglia di gin e mi rabbocca il bicchiere e mi dice “ecco così sei contento”. Vi lascio immaginare quanto potesse fare schifo quel negroni. Se me lo chiamano Gran cafè io mi aspetto un servizio degno del suo nome, se è per ricevere il cliente in questo modo chiamatelo “cafè da zio tonio”. Qualità prezzo zero. Pessimi.

Dicono di noi: Un menù (unticcio ma ormi tutti fanno così) ma due piatti davvero di casa: bigoli in salsa e fegato alla veneziana. Promossi per serietà e velocità. Danno punti a mezza città, avvinghiata ai turisti come cozze sullo scoglio. Prezzi in linea con la qualità. Non sbagliate a fermarvi qui.

Dicono di noi: Please do not ruin your holiday by going to this place. I wish I would of read these reviews before we sat to eat here!!!!! After spending 3 days in Venice and eating in numerous restaurants for both lunch and dinner along the same water front and view of Rialto bridge we decided to eat here for some lunch. We was sat to our table and given a menu, as this was only lunch and we wasn’t very hungry me and my boyfriend decided to share a large pizza, we was told it was a minimum of 1 dish each if you wanted to sit outside, so if we wasn’t ordering more than one large pizza we had to either sit inside the restaurant or leave. As we had already ordered drinks and started drinking these we decided leaving wasn’t an option and wanted to sit on the water front so ordered another dish (calamari) which wasn’t on the menu but we had had it at several other restaurants on the same waterfront so knew it would be available. The food came and the calamari was disgusting, wasn’t fried at all and was soggy so this didn’t get touched. The pizza on the other hand was lovely (shame we wasn’t allowed to just eat this). At this point we was already disappointed and felt the staff was rude so just asked for the bill as we was ready to leave - receiving the bill just topped it all off!!!! €70 for 1 birra moretti, 1 white whine, 1 pizza and 1 calamari!!!!!!!!! Not only do they charge you €4 just to sit down in their restaurant they then also charge you 12% service charge. The calamari we ordered that wasn’t on the menu we was charged €21 for (that didn’t get touched). After asking the waiter to explain why the bill was so expensive he was very rude and said ‘venice is expensive’ - we had already been here for 3 days and literally ate next door and in the other restaurants just as close to the Rialto bridge and water front (3 doors down we actually ordered the same food with 1 extra drink each and the bill was half the price). We decided to leave the money for the food but didn’t pay the service charge as we was less than satisfied with the service, we was then chased down the street for the sake of €7 service charge to be taken back into the restaurant to speak to the manager (WHO WAS ALSO VERY RUDE) and told us that we had to pay the service charge because it is for the staff - I explained to him that I was not satisfied with the service therefore will not be paying the service charge. To be honest they was lucky they even got €63 from me. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs, we had the most amazing trip to Venice and can not fault any other restaurant other than this one!! They survive off scamming tourists
