Dicono di noi: on arrival had to wait about 10 minutes till someone bothered to come to us. When ordering food i asked the waiter for some olives he replied in a very rude way that they dont serve olives but when i asked another waiter he brought those to us....?!?!?! Anyway ordered a venetian pizza got a completely different one then they had to change they were not happy also the bread was terrible old. At the end bill was 55 it included 12% service charge. We have paid £70 the guy was like oh thank you very much took the money and just left us, as we were sitting outside we were waiting for our change the guy was serving other costumers and just occasionally looking at our side to see if we were leaving the restaurant and hoping that we will leaving 15eur so we called him to say wheres the money he was like oh sorry i forgot! When he gave us the change at the end he was standing by the door waiting for a tip. As soon as we took our change and didnt leave anything he walked away. Thats just awful, been here last year for a drink only it was better but this time it was disgusting including service & food!!

Dicono di noi: Ci siamo seduti in 2 per pranzare, abbiamo ordinato uno spaghetto scogliera e una tagliatella panna e funghi, a seguire 2 filetti di branzino con patate al forno. Cibo accettabile e passabile, nulla di eccezionale e neanche nulla da buttare. Mi sarei aspettata negli spaghetti qualcosa di fresco, però si sa, i posti turistici sono cosi. Si potrebbe fare di meglio, ma non sono stata tanto male. Anche i prezzi sono nella media e se tornassi mi fermerei per dargli una seconda opportunita. Grazie :)

Dicono di noi: A Venezia per un giorno, ci siamo fermati qui a pranzo. I piatti scelti, 1 antipasto e 2 primi, ben presentati, il gusto buono, nella norma. I prezzi alti ma siamo a Venezia, quindi...ci può stare. Un ringraziamento al cameriere che quando è arrivato il sole al nostro tavolo, ha portato un ombrellone per permetterci di finire il pranzo all'ombra. Grazie, abbiamo apprezzato molto, vista la giornata calda.

Dicono di noi: Please do not ruin your holiday by going to this place. I wish I would of read these reviews before we sat to eat here!!!!! After spending 3 days in Venice and eating in numerous restaurants for both lunch and dinner along the same water front and view of Rialto bridge we decided to eat here for some lunch. We was sat to our table and given a menu, as this was only lunch and we wasn’t very hungry me and my boyfriend decided to share a large pizza, we was told it was a minimum of 1 dish each if you wanted to sit outside, so if we wasn’t ordering more than one large pizza we had to either sit inside the restaurant or leave. As we had already ordered drinks and started drinking these we decided leaving wasn’t an option and wanted to sit on the water front so ordered another dish (calamari) which wasn’t on the menu but we had had it at several other restaurants on the same waterfront so knew it would be available. The food came and the calamari was disgusting, wasn’t fried at all and was soggy so this didn’t get touched. The pizza on the other hand was lovely (shame we wasn’t allowed to just eat this). At this point we was already disappointed and felt the staff was rude so just asked for the bill as we was ready to leave - receiving the bill just topped it all off!!!! €70 for 1 birra moretti, 1 white whine, 1 pizza and 1 calamari!!!!!!!!! Not only do they charge you €4 just to sit down in their restaurant they then also charge you 12% service charge. The calamari we ordered that wasn’t on the menu we was charged €21 for (that didn’t get touched). After asking the waiter to explain why the bill was so expensive he was very rude and said ‘venice is expensive’ - we had already been here for 3 days and literally ate next door and in the other restaurants just as close to the Rialto bridge and water front (3 doors down we actually ordered the same food with 1 extra drink each and the bill was half the price). We decided to leave the money for the food but didn’t pay the service charge as we was less than satisfied with the service, we was then chased down the street for the sake of €7 service charge to be taken back into the restaurant to speak to the manager (WHO WAS ALSO VERY RUDE) and told us that we had to pay the service charge because it is for the staff - I explained to him that I was not satisfied with the service therefore will not be paying the service charge. To be honest they was lucky they even got €63 from me. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs, we had the most amazing trip to Venice and can not fault any other restaurant other than this one!! They survive off scamming tourists

Dicono di noi: I can say this without any hesitation: Casa Dea Corte is the friendliest and realest place I know of to eat or drink in Venice. I have been to Venice a few times, this time I went with my mom. We always try to find unpretentious places to eat, where the quality of the food and service speaks for itself. So when we were looking inside this small yard, just far enough away from the big touristy streets that you could forget they are there, we immediately knew we had to check it out. We never looked back from there. Everybody is supersuper friendly and welcoming. Oliver, the host, also does the cooking. He offers a great selection of Cicchetti and there is also a small seasonal menu of pasta dishes and some other things, which seems to vary, depending on what's available at the market that day. When you watch Oliver through the window you realise - this is the real deal. Everything is freshly cooked with lots of love and knowledge about classical Venetian cooking. No unnecessarily fancy stuff, just really, really good food. The waiter was always happy to recommend a few dishes to us as well as explain them a bit if needed. We tried different Cicchetti, as well as some pasta dishes (among others, Bigoli in Salsa were amazing, Pasta alla Busara was also soo good). For the remainder of our stay, which was three days, we came back two times. Would have been more often, if we stayed longer. I also believe this might be an awesome place to go and just chill and drink some beers or Aperol or wine. But I will find out anyway the next time I am in Venice as I will be coming back to Casa Dea Corte 110 percent, no questions asked. Thank you guys for everything! Definitely the highlight of our trip.

Dicono di noi: It is a small privately owned restaurant off the beaten path with about 25 seats. The menu is small but the taste and value is authentic Venetian Italian. The pasta dishes are excellent and price is much better than St Mark Square restaurants. Like all Venetian Seafood restaurants, the seafood appetizer are pricey versus its portion, as compared US Seafood restaurants. On the other hand, I'm sure the Seafood in Venice is real and not farm raised. Would recommend it, especially supporting a local small business owner.

Dicono di noi: Abbiamo ordinato due pizze da 11€ ciascuna. Le pizze sono quelle surgelate del Carrefour probabilmente, con aggiunta di ingredienti sopra. 1.5€ il coperto a testa e 4,50€ una bottiglietta d’acqua. Prezzi spropositati per la qualità che offrono. Se vuoi mettere la pizza surgelata non farla pagare 11€... dei 3 giorni passati a Venezia è stato l’unico locale dove ci siamo trovati male. Sconsigliatissimo!!

Dicono di noi: Non vi fidate della proposta menù per turisti che poi quando ti siedi non la trovi nel menù. Prezzi cari antipasto 20 euro per due per il pesce offerto è veramente caro, alneno eta buono. Per non parlare del risotto che nel menu trovi a 18 euro x due ma in realtà il prezzo è a testa. Un risotto con 2 vongole 2 pezzetti di calamari e 2 gamberetti microscopici 18 euro è scandaloso. E poi lenti lenti... essenfo gli unici nel locale... mi sarei aspettata un po' più velocità non 45 minuti per un risotto quando al massimo in 18 minuti il riso è stracotto. E poi si lamentano che dopo lockdown non hanno turisti. Cambiate prezzi e modo di fare. Avrei volentieri mangiato due panini se solo si potesse ancora mangiare al sacco a Venezia. Mi spiace ma così i turisti li fate scappare
