We stopped overnight at the Hotel Brenner in Sterzing (see review) and were pointed to the adjacent Sadobre Truck Stop restaurant Top-Stop for dinner. The exterior is a bit industrial because of refurbishment and enlargement work. Interior is fine.
The service is very, very good, as is the menu.
Truckers ostensibly love pizza, there were about 30 different ones on the menu. All freshly prepared from scratch in an old style wood fired pizza oven.
There were many italian and specifically South Tyrolean dishes on the menu.
We had two excellent pasta dishes. Good wine list.
The waitstaff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.
