Dicono di noi:
I went to WEF last night (20 Jan), because I wanted to try a new place for my aperitivo. The location is great, they have tables outside (my partner being a smoker) and they advertised being a 'bruschetteria', so we thought it to be a safe bet. We specifically asked our prosecco ti be very cold (very cold is the only way you can drink a prosecco) but despite that, when the two glasses arrived, they were not even 'wet' at the outside, and mind you, I live in south Sardinia and last night the temperature was around 14 degrees, so our prosecco wasn't much cooler. Then the appetizers arrived: little portions, presented without love and with a total lack of understanding (like, there was only 1 tiny square of bruschetta, I had to bite it and give the rest to my partner, so that he could try it). Incredibly underwhelmed we went to pay and got the final surprise: t=not only they charged us 5 euro for each glass of prosecco (usual charge for prosecco around town varying between 3 and 4 - you only pay 5 when they bring you a 'tagliere': a wooden cutting board full of appetizers), but they also charged us 1 euro 'coperto' (which you usually only charge for dinner at restaurants , not at bar for aperitivo). I don't mind paying for what I like, but being overcharged for luke-warm prosecco *and* being charged cover for aperitivo, this is really over the top. Never again!
