I have spent all 29 years of my life living in New Jersey and/or New York City with access to the best Italian food and tomatoes in the U.S.A. My husband and I also travelled all over Sicily - palermo, agrigento, noto, Syracuse, marzimemi, catania and taormina. No dish i have ever had is as good as this restaurant's spaghetti with tomato basil sauce. If I had to eat the same dish every night for the rest of my life, I would be ecstatic if it could be this. Their eggplant parmigiana, squid and chocolate lava cake were also divine. They use the freshest ingredients and put so much love into their food. Amazing. The breakfast here was also incredible with french toast, omelettes, sun dried tomatoes spread that my mouth watered for each morning, fresh ricotta, fresh breads, fresh squeezed juices and mint iced tea. PHENOMENAL. Also the ambience is amazing. Beautiful views of the countryside in the morning and lunch. Lanterns lit with candles and plants draping from the ceiling at night for a beautiful romantic night.
